"Mixed Feelings!!"
Stayed for 2 nights at the weekend in a bigger from with my 12 year old.
First impressions were good. Great location and really friendly staff.
We were given room 418 on the 4th floor. On exiting the lift we noticed that the secure entry door to the rooms was broken (glass smashed and removed with tape over it) and the door was jammed open. This wasn’t initially a problem however our room was the first in the corridor after this door leading from the lifts. With it being jammed open we heard the ‘chime’ of the lift every time that it stopped on the 4th floor which became very annoying especially when trying to sleep.
The bedroom was good and had everything that you would need for a short break but the carpet was filthy. I don’t mean a couple of stains here and there, it was disgusting with some areas that were black. We walked on it with white socks and our socks ended up dirty so had to keep our trainers on. It’s a shame because the rest of the room was spotless but the dirty carpet just made the room feel really grubby.
I have another Hub booked for the summer so hopefully this next one will be better.

"Brilliant and I will be staying again!"
I was so impressed with the Premier Inn hub I will without doubt stay again. The location was excellent and I enjoyed walking around London from here. The rooms were incredibly clean and although they are compact, certainly for one person staying it was more than sufficient. As a couple it may be a little bit more congested but nonetheless, given the location, for short stays I am sure it would not be a problem and I would be happy to stay with my partner. The reception staff were fantastic and very pleasant and the welcome at breakfast was pleasant and I was seated quickly. The breakfast was lovely – slightly fewer options than a normal Premier Inn, but this was reflected in the price and to be honest the choice for me was fabulous. The food was warm and good quality and it set me up for the day.
I have booked in for another three days for business travel, it has cost slightly more than I would have liked for three days given that this is a compact hotel, but cleanliness, location, a good sleep, good staff, and a good breakfast, are all important to me and this hotel ticks every one of those.
The only thing in the hotel room that I wasn’t able to do was stream on the television and this could be useful. That said, I did spend a lot of time out of the hotel so for me it was just background noise.
it is important to note that there are no hot drink making facilities in the room, however these are provided downstairs and they are free of charge. You could always bring a hot drink container so you can take it back to your room which I will be doing on my next visit. Thank you so much for a lovely day.

"Good & cost effective"
Great stay. Practical, functional and very clean (great if you don’t spend time in your room) Not for those who suffer from claustrophobia, as the right side of the bed is against the wall.
Great comfortable coffee lounge if you need to chill and catch up with some emails. Staff are very friendly and accommodating and kept our bags for the last few hours as we had a few hours to spare after check out. It was good to spend the money on having fun rather than on a room you only sleep in.

"Cold showers…"
Just back from my 6th stay here. Usually I would have no complications but the last 2 times I have stayed in this hotel there has been no hot water in the showers. I did inform reception but clearly nothing was done, I heard other guests also complaining!! The water is tepid making showering very unpleasant… I had a broken hairdryer and no complimentary bottle of water, that was always a nice touch.
Everything else was ok, rooms are very compact, ok for a few nights on business. They are comfortable and very clean. Location is superb. Hotel very quiet and no bother from noise. As I travel over a lot on business, I will have to consider whether to stay here again, as the lack of hot water really is an issue…

"Great value and quality with excellent location"
We stayed here after our usual place had hiked up their prices by 30% a night. Glad we did change, as it meant we got to see that this is a great place to stay in the future and thoroughly recommend it. Brilliant quiet calm location that's central and easy walking distance of Westminster, the South Bank, tubes, St James park and Buckingham Palace. We had the bigger room which was plenty for 2 nights when we're mostly out.
Bed very comfy , great shower, tv, towels and hand wash provided. We didn't care about no window. Air con worked and quite powerful. Enough storage and surface space for 2. We didn't have breakfast but appreciated the bar for late drink and free hot drinks night and day. Good selection Teas and alternative milk. Staff were very friendly and we felt welcome. There are plenty nearby pubs and lunch places. We had a decent sleep with barely any noise and not much commotion outside as it's predominantly a business area. I think it's a great choice if you need something of good standard without paying for useless frills.
