"Hey! Premier Inn customers! Look after yourselves cos we don’t do that any more"
Well, how far are Premier Inn lowering their standards of what they consider to be acceptable hospitality? Thought it was odd that we should be asked to opt in to having our room serviced, but did as they requested and registered our rooms with reception before noon on the day following our first night. Surprise, surprise, when we got back at 12:45 am that night, nothing had been done. No change of towels, no replenishment of amenities, nothing. The poor night Manager didn’t know what to say, although acknowledged that other guests had also found that their request to have their room serviced had also not been followed through. So, no towels changed, no replenishment of amenities, and the room unserviced. I guess most travellers who use Premier Inn are aware of the gradual reducing by increments of the offer that Premier Inn makes to its staying guests, and this is a exemplar of this erosion of standards and quality of service. Doubtful that executive management will be particularly bothered, either. Such a disappointment, they had a brand that worked so well and have started to focus on goals other than customer satisfaction, I.e. trimming services to increase margin. A sad demise of a hitherto value brand.

An excellent choise if you want to stay centrally in London. Paddington station is just outside the door. Beds were comfortable and the rooms overall OK. The only thing we missed was a safe in the room. Breakfast was good and they took great care of avoiding allergens in our kids’ breakfast. This is the best breakfast experience we’ve ever had after having kids with severe allergies. We’ve never felt so safe and well taken care of. When seated the kids got a meny including all the allergens and were able to pick things they could eat from the menu. The food was prepared separately making sure to avoid contamination. If you have severe food allergies I would strongly recommend this hotel.
"Excellent stay"
Arrived at 3pm to check in, it was crazy busy but dealt with efficiently. Room clean, shower powerful, air conditioning good. Ask at reception for room cleaning daily if you wish for it, towels changed etc and it’s done. Room a bit small for a family of 4 but do-able, not much room for clothes storage/cases but we managed. We went to the restaurant for the meal deal. The young lady that served us on each of the 3 evenings was tremendous, so helpful, friendly, efficient and chatted away to us about where we were from and about London. She is an absolute asset to this hotel. We will definitely be back. One of the best premier inns I have stayed in and so handy being right beside the Elizabeth line.

Best Premier inn we have stayed in so far, definitely best in London. Restaurant is excellent, great staff and food is of good quality. We were there during a recent heatwave so the air conditioning throughout the hotel was very important, we will definitely stay here again.
