hub London Paddington (Paddington Station)

Stayed here one night before the next day flight and it was a great location to take the Elizabeth line to Paddington station to stay over night. Got confused and walked around, but it is literally right across the street from the station if you take the middle set of elevators. GREAT location. Rooms and service are lacking however - its bare minimum in terms of size and what it can offer (e.g. once housekeeping leaves, you can't get additional sheets or blankets). The room and bathroom are quite small - the shower door is half a glass so water flows out of the shower. It does the job for what we wanted as it was only one night, but it was quite small. There isn't a lobby bathroom like in most hotels, but you can use the restroom that is in the attached restaurant and get a key from the bartender. They do hold your luggage (could not do a late checkout) and were very friendly about this and was easy to get the luggage back. The morning staff was very helpful.

We checked in 7/18. We booked a family room specifically so that we could have 3 beds. Instead of putting us in a family room, they are passing off a smaller double room as a family room and we only have 2 beds. It looks nothing like the picture. When I asked the gentleman at the front desk, he said that those pictures don’t represent any of their rooms and there are no rooms like it in the whole hotel. The room would be fine for a couple but is way too small for a family. Very misleading.

We had a great few days in London. The location of the hotel was perfect as it was just beside Paddington Railway Station. We had a family room which suited well, rooms were clean and tidy and the breakfast was excellent.

We recently stayed here for five nights. The location is excellent and one of the hotel’s biggest strengths. It’s conveniently close to train and bus stations, and many attractions are within walking distance. The room was comfortable, and the bed was especially cozy, making for a great night’s sleep. Unfortunately, our experience with some of the front desk staff was disappointing. Beatrice, along with another staff member with beige blonde curly hair, was extremely rude to us. Their behavior felt unnecessarily petty and personal, which was upsetting and took away from an otherwise pleasant stay. On the positive side, the manager, Corina, handled the situation professionally and with genuine care. She was incredibly helpful and did her best to resolve the issue. Robert was also very kind and assisted us greatly during our stay. Overall, the hotel has a fantastic location and comfortable rooms, but the inconsistency in customer service, particularly our experience with Beatrice, was disappointing.
