hub London Paddington (Paddington Station)

We have stayed in many Premier Inns over the years, and this one is probably my favourite for location, value for cost, friendly and helpful staff, quality of food and overall comfort. And we never had to wait for an elevator once!

Excellent location especially if you're arriving at Paddington Station. The room was pleasant and very clean. However if you don't want to share a bed with your travelling companion you will be booked into a family room. Be warned that these room do not have shower cubicles just over the bath showers. The baths themselves are quite deep and can be difficult to climb into if you are not very tall. As non-slip bath mats are not provided, just a small area of non-slip coating on the floor of the bath directly under the shower head climbing in and out of the bath is extremely difficult. Reception staff were helpful. It's worth paying extra for early check-in. The cooked breakfast was plentiful but lukewarm. The bread was of poor quality as were the pastries. I

Great location, lovely staff, clean room but it didn't have a window. A lightbox is not the same thing. These types of rooms are normally much cheaper across London and I was not warned that Hub also do this. My friend who I booked for was given a room with a window. We paid the same amount. I think I should have been given the choice. I didn't realise until late at night. I always wake up with the sun and it was a horrible experience to not be able to open a blind. I found it claustrophobic. I also felt totally ripped off.

We found this hotel to have an excellent location being so close to the station and amenities. There was a group of 10 of us and apart from one person, we all found the rooms to be clean comfortable and quiet. There was a good selection at breakfast and each and every member of staff that we came across was helpful and friendly. You could leave your luggage with the hotel after checking out and they had a secure tagging system which was really good. I heard of people staying at other hotels whose bags etc were taken by the wrong people but they had no secure tagging system, so well done Premier Inn. Would definitely stay here again.

A person walked into our room, we assume from housekeeping but no apology and reception staff not really interested when we raised the issue with them. As two female guests this hotel has no concern for guests safety.
