"Great stay for Hyde Park BST"
Ideal location for Hyde Park BST concert, great facilities.and a clean and family friendly hotel - walking distance to venue and close to tube
"Surprisingly good"
Booked by my business I was all set not to like “The Hub”, but from the efficient and friendly welcome to the clean very comfortable, if a little compact, rooms, I was impressed. Well thought through details like the pull out desk and consolidated lighting controls were good. Breakfast also good value at £8 for an endless buffet including cooked options.
"Modern & clean"
This is a clean modern up to date hotel in a good location. Excellent hotel with a good selection of very comfortable if what small rooms. Bed was a treat as a good size and very comfortable
"Good connections to all of London. Was just okay."
I paid to check in early as we had afternoon plans, so went to use the kiosk as the person at reception was seeing someone else. I was told I had to check in at the desk, but I went to scan my QR code and the person there shouted to me that I needed to check in at the desk. So I ended up waiting when I could have done it myself. I told them I had a QR code and asked if needed to scan it. They said that was for the kiosk...literally what I was going to do before they told me not to use it. Not something that would put me off but did think it was a waste of time having the self check in when I couldn't use it. No sign to say it was broken so I'll assume positive intent that it was. Room was on a high floor, which I prefer. It was really clean and well air conditioned. We visited during the hottest days ever so I am so thankful the air con worked! Not much of a window, a tiny slated window which looked out onto a roof area. I knew as it was a hub it wouldn't have much of a view but something to note if you're bothered about that. For me, the bed was too small. I was also unsure why the duvet cover didn't fit the duvet properly. The duvet wasn't too heavy either to be fair which was great in the heat. Also, the shower and tap water pressure was not hard/fast enough. Washing my hands, water was going everywhere because of how the water came out the taps. I felt like I had to take a longer than usual shower to feel clean because it felt like the water was just dribbling. I know this will be because of their water efficiency they have but I didn't think I'd notice a difference. I am not a tea/coffee drinker but be aware, all tea and coffee was free but in the reception area. It does have good connections to all of London. It is a 5 minute walk from Edgware Road and Marylebone tube stations. It is walkable from Paddington but given the heat we didn't do that. I'd stay again if it was the last hotel available but personally I have stayed in better hotels in London that provide the same or similar value for money.
"Clean and modern with convenient location"
A modern and reasonably priced hotel in an excellent location. The room, whilst small was not a shoebox like a lot of hotels in London. All the required amenities in a clean and fresh room. Very close to Edgeware and Marble arch tube stations. Would definitely stay here again if I needed an inexpensive hotel in London
