"Basic and not that great!"
I accidentally booked this one, rather than the normal Premier Inn, so I walked in just before the 1500 check in and was told I'd have to pay £15 'early check in fee!', I've never had this experience at the proper premier inn!! So i went to the bar and asked it the did decaf coffee, the woman didnt even look up and just barked "no"! On later inspection there were inface sachets of decaf coffee beside the machine! No tea/coffee facilities in the room, the bed was so high that it was a job to get in it and then it was really uncomfortable! Aircon was so noisy, water noise coming from it all night! I had to be up at 4am and got no sleep, I definitely won't be making the mistake of booking here again!
"Very clean rooms and comfortable beds"
Very comfortable beds. Rooms have air conditioning. Very good standard of cleanliness in rooms. Only negative was the quality of reception staff - the machines were not working very well to log in (2 already had out of order signs on them). Iinitially the guests were being told they were not doing it correctly until the receptionist realised there was actually an issue. More difficult for those for whom English was not their 1st language to get past the receptionist who in fact made the queue longer than it needed to be.
"Lovely stay apart from the very rude staff"
Hotel was great as always, lovely room, very clean, free bottled water as it was 29 degrees in London at the time, the only downside being the staff member we spoke to on arrival. Incredibly rude, not only to us but to another gentleman, on asking if early check in was possible ourselves and the other gentleman were met with a straight "No." Without even looking up from his computer or offering to check if we had pre booked any. Always had lovely experiences with the staff at this branch of Premier Inn Hub, but that guy was awful, we'd been in London less than 15 minutes and he already put a dampener on our weekend. We ended up going to the Premier inn two minutes down the road where our friends were staying and leaving our bags and clothes there with them (who surprisingly had absolutely lovely staff.
"Disappointing"
Tiny room, no kettle, dirty floors, tiny windows that don’t open. Water sloshing noice from aircon or neighbours shower.
"Location great and clean, but that’s all the positives! Its a shame, but expect more for £250"
Great location, and clean but that’s the best it gets I’m afraid. Check in was chaotic despite having opted for and paying for the early check in. The check in machines weren’t working so ended up queuing for half an hour in the entrance hall. The room was tiny with no facilities other than a bed tv and shower room. The staff were very busy and fairly quiet and not the most engaging. the veggie breakfast was average at best, and the table needed cleaning. I’d expect better for £250 for one night
