"Not a premier experience!"
At the beginning of our stay, we were encouraged to use the self check-in screens, only to be told by the machine that one of our rooms wasn’t ready! Therefore we had to check-in with a staff member anyway, which defeated the whole point of self check-in. In terms of space around the reception area, it was tight, with people trying to pass through in each direction. Our party had booked two rooms but these were not near each other. We mentioned this to staff, who re-allocated one of the rooms for us. However it transpired that although our two rooms were only a couple of numbers apart, they were actually on separate floors! Very annoying and inconvenient. Both floors were also minus numbers, and I did not like being below ground level. Our room had no window and the bed was against the wall on one side - I did not like that layout. Staff had not provided enough pillows or towels for a 2-person stay! So we had to request these at Reception. I was not impressed that such basic supplies had not been properly included! We also struggled with getting phone service at times, maybe due to the minus floor level. This was another inconvenience during our short stay. It was generous of the hotel to offer free tea & coffee to guests. However, this excluded someone like myself who does not drink tea or coffee. Therefore I was not able to benefit from this and felt it was unfair. I don’t know why hot chocolate isn’t an option? Their machines had 8 different hot drink choices (mainly different types of coffee, and hot milk - who has that?) In my view, it was ridiculous to offer multiple variations of coffee, but not one hot chocolate. I understand the rooms are designed to be compact, but the layout made it difficult due to where the bed was positioned, and there being very limited floor space for luggage. The bed was fairly comfortable and the bathroom was adequate. For the facilities provided, I felt the room should have been cheaper. There was a bus stop only about a minute’s walk from the hotel to King’s Cross/St Pancras/Euston etc, so the location was handy.

"Great stay"
We usually stay at the other Kings Cross Premier Inn but decided to try this one for a change. What a great place!
We arrived early so were able to store our luggage safely and explore the citybefore check in.
Check in was easy, our room was located on the 2nd floor at the back of the building. Whilst it was small it provided everything we needed for an overnight stay inc. free water, free tea/coffee, toiletries and most importantly it was spotlessly clean.
We added on the breakfast offer which we excellent value for money.
In summary, perfect location for the station, really helpful staff and good amenities.
Will definitely stay again.

"Excellent stay, will return."
Comfortable and convenient three nights at the Hub, 5 minutes from Kings Cross and all you need for a brief stay. Room big enough for one, large tv, 6 coat hangers and a large drawer pulls out from the bed for other clothes storage ( didn't spot at first). Comfortable bed with touchscreen panel to control lights and aircon. Nice bathroom with large head shower.
Large bar lounge area which doubles as the breakfast room ( some seating not ideal for this), breakfast has a few cereals, fruit and yogurt, 6 items of hot food, toast and jams - not bad for £8 unlimited. Tea and coffee available all day.
Staff pleasant and helpful, special mention for Rita who went out of her way to welcome us and give a detailed overview of what was available at the hotel, a star!

"Great little find"
This is a great hotel and the 3rd time we have stayed in the Kings Cross Hub. The staff are great and very welcoming with early checking allowed which was really helpful. This hotel has easy access to the station and also Coal Drops Yard. The bar has a nice friendly atmosphere and great for a drink before heading out. The prices are also reasonable for London. Can highly recommend this hotel, its great value for money.

"Amazing staff"
We had such a lovely stay on our way to the continent - we were greeted by the friendliest team on reception - one of whom was brand new to the job but so professional. And Rita - wow, Rita! She went above and beyond to make us feel at home and share all the facilities with us - and arranged a spectacularly fun vegan-friendly birthday treat for my partner. (Rita you’re AMAZING!).
The bar staff were also brilliantly witty and welcoming.
We stay here every time we travel Eurostar but our recent stay really cemented why we feel so comfy there. It’s way more than a simple, station-adjacent stay.
Rooms are simple and perhaps on the small side - but have everything you need for a short stay.
But it’s the team who really make this place what it is. They’re a gift to UK hospitality. And I genuinely don’t say that lightly!
