Room is small but does the job. Free bottle of water. Air conditioning. Light duvet (was a bit old looking when it came out of the duvet cover which wasnt attractive but not a deal breaker). Carpet a bit stained. Modern adjustable lighting via touch pad on headboard of bed. Hair dryer on wall. Iron available in room at end of hall (just use electronic room key to access). Pillow rather hard but may suit some. Shower good pressure. Walls not too thin.

We stayed in a standard room prior to our holiday in Switzerland, and the room was small, but comfortable. However, it was difficult to move round each other and 2 suitcases! On our return from holiday, we asked if we could have a bigger room, and lovely Rita sorted it for us. It was much better for us. She went above and beyond her call of duty, and when we relaxed with a bottle of wine in the comfortable lounge later on, she spotted us and made us feel very special. All the staff were helpful, and the hotel is in a good position for St Pancras Station.

Great location, easy check in. Although there are no family rooms I booked a room for two adults for myself and my young son and this was no issue. Rita went above and beyond to look after is despite being rushed off her feet and was very kind in providing us with some unexpected treats! She made us feel very welcomed and well look after, Thankyou!

I love this HUB at Kings Cross. It is my go-to place every time I visit London. The beds are sublime; the rooms quiet; and the "team" working there is exceptional. The wonderful people really make the difference. Many have been there since I started staying at this spot over a decade ago. They go out of their way to be kind, courteous, professional, and help to make your stay the best it can be. I can stay anywhere in London, but I choose to stay at this hotel. My late husband was the dancer, director Gene Kelly. I work with many of the dancers, directors, choreographers in London, so the HUB is a perfect base for me. I am near the train and tube stations and I can walk to Sadler's Wells. I hope you will give it a try. And, if you do, please take a moment to say hello to Patricio, Mariya, Bella, Mihaela, Denis, Yazmin, and the other lovely young folks working there.

Room wasn't clean (even smaller then expected), socks from previous guests were still on the floor, very dusty, air-conditioning wasn't working properly and the staff............... 1 lady at check-out was very friendly but the rest.... And to top it all of: towels smelt terribly and my boyfriend got an allergen reaction to it (itchy/redness), the front desk said only call 999 if it gets any worse,
