"Great location, but avoid the restaurant!"
Great location a stones throw from chessington theme park, we literally used it as a base so was fine for us. Nothing special but nothing huge to complain about. Only really bad thing was the restaurant - food was limited, absolutely awful, tiny portions and very expensive!
"4 minutes walk from hotel to Chessington adventures."
Perfect hotel, we booked 3 night stay as booked to go into Chessington adventures, which was exactly 4 minutes walk away, from hotel to park entrance.... the cost was so reasonable, and being so close to Chessington, 4 minutes, and that was me 66yrs pushing a toddler in pushchair. Could have only closer by paying triple price for room in parks hotel...
"Worst Premier Inn ever stayed at."
My company had booked this for 4 of us and the meal was included while we were away. The choice was disgusting and they also had no lager on tap - only bottles. The worst Premier Inn we have stayed in and certainly not to the standard that they advertise on the tv.
    "Avoid at all cost!"
Booked for a peaceful night after a day at the theme park - little did I know. Kids upstairs were auditioning for Cirque du Soleil, each landing feeling like the ceiling was going to fall over our heads. I resorted to banging on the ceiling, hoping they would maybe get the message. After 30 minutes of this, I went to reception to politely ask if someone could have a word....Enter Mr Cirque du Soleil himself, apparently there to lodge his own complaint about me. Because, of course, I had selfishly interrupted his children’s intensive circus training. He overheard me and immediately called me a liar (but couldn't explain how come I knew he had kids if I was making it up...). Then came the colourful insults, capped with the charming “I know where your room is”. Nothing like a veiled threat to really enhance your hotel stay. The poor receptionist - a young girl clearly not trained in Dealing with Aggressive Customers 101 - looked overwhelmed, while the manager was apparently off somewhere perfecting their invisibility cloak. Despite the threats and insults, this vile man was allowed to stay. Had I been travelling alone, I’d have checked out on the spot. Breakfast the next morning was the grand finale. The eggs looked like they’d been freeze-dried during the First World War and only just rehydrated for my plate and the sausages had the bounce and chewiness of a well-used flip-flop. So, if you enjoy paper-thin walls, live earthquake reenactments, lack of management while facing aggressive customers, and breakfast that doubles as survival rations, you’re in for a treat.
    "Won’t be going here again."
reception bloke wasn’t helpful and didn’t seem to care. Wasn’t helpful at all. Family of 3 were we stayed 3 nights 4 days with no restaurant as it was shut. Due to no staff. So we had to order just eat or uber and even bar wasn’t open. Also short staff Avalibility. Won’t be going here again. Poor experience
