"Warm and friendly staff"
We had an exceptional service from Chloe, we stayed 2 nights and she remembered our order from the night before. All the staff work very hard with plenty of smiles.

"The best part was the location"
The location to chessington park is great. The rooms were clean. There’s no lift so you need to be able to go upstairs or try to get ground floor. The air conditioning is broken in a lot of rooms for an extended period of time. They are short staffed so service wasn’t great, breakfast wasn’t great, and the restaurant couldn’t be opened in the evening.
The staff there were pleasant though and there’s an outside sitting area.
The location was best as you can easy walk around to chessington park.

"Avoid at all costs"
Bed and aircon were the only positives.
Otherwise, this was possibly one of the worst hotel experiences I have had.
We noticed our family room had been switched to an accessibility room on our journey into the area. Luckily we arrived 4 hours early so went to see whether this could be changed, as being 7 months pregnant, the lower sinks, towel racks etc were actually worse for me. We were met with an immediate no, there was nothing that could be done as our previous room as out of order for maintenance. No apology, no compassion, just no.
2 towels given for 3 guests.
Wet room drain was blocked, so only 1/3 could shower without flooding the room.
No TV remote could be found.
Sound proofing was non-existent. You could hear all conversations in the corridors, and every footsteps of the floor above.
Restaurant only had one front of house staff member covering the door, bar, tables and making the deserts. The chef just stood at his hatch with music blaring so loud it was heard over the restaurants own.
There were a couple of staff members who we genuinely felt bad for. Management was clearly non-existent, and staffing at its absolute minimum threshold. We were left with the feeling that if anything serious happened in the hotel/restaurant during our stay, we would have been left for ourselves.
I would never return to this hotel, and would never recommend to others.

"Great stay, staff and experience - despite heat wave"
We had a great experience.
2 adults sharing, who were meeting the larger family at Chessington. Staff were super helpful and accommodating, 5min walk to Chessington World of Adventure making it a much more affordable stay.
We were very grateful for a room with air-conditioning! (Hottest days in May!)
Room was very clean. no complaints about that! Shower was clean and good size. Room access felt secure with key needed for the hallway entry - just a little extra security measure we appreciated)
Entrance is open and friendly and clean with seats to wait. Plenty of parking outside.
Breakfast was served in the facility next door, which was very good, had ample of options, including fresh fruit selection. Food was replenished often so there was not a lot of waiting for anything.
All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend staying here for ease of access to the park near by,
And a big tv to chill in bed to decompress after a day running round with the kids. Charging points next to bed too made it easier to charge fan and phones and other devices,

RoomsRooms were spacious TV in room Plenty of plugs and charging points Bathroom was clean with large walk-in shower and spacious some reviews suggested smells of damp, we did not experience this in any part of the hotel. Found it to be clean and fresh through out.
Nearby activitiesChessington World Of Adventure was only a 7min walk from the hotel to the entrance gate,
SafetyFelt secure. Key card to access the hallway to the rooms. Windows could be open and closed, and they backed out into what looked secure to us, no pedestrain access behind it.
WalkabilityEasy to walk to and from Chessington resort. We stayed bottom floor and found it super accessible with wide hallway and no steps in the hotel (there are upper floors too

"Sunday night"
On Sunday night a young girl was all alone she did an amazing job. Even when there was no colleagues to help her. The food did take quite a while to come out but other than the 1 server there was no manager to complain to. Thank you, Sharnie
