"Avoid at all cost!"
Booked for a peaceful night after a day at the theme park - little did I know. Kids upstairs were auditioning for Cirque du Soleil, each landing feeling like the ceiling was going to fall over our heads. I resorted to banging on the ceiling, hoping they would maybe get the message. After 30 minutes of this, I went to reception to politely ask if someone could have a word....Enter Mr Cirque du Soleil himself, apparently there to lodge his own complaint about me. Because, of course, I had selfishly interrupted his children’s intensive circus training. He overheard me and immediately called me a liar (but couldn't explain how come I knew he had kids if I was making it up...). Then came the colourful insults, capped with the charming “I know where your room is”. Nothing like a veiled threat to really enhance your hotel stay. The poor receptionist - a young girl clearly not trained in Dealing with Aggressive Customers 101 - looked overwhelmed, while the manager was apparently off somewhere perfecting their invisibility cloak. Despite the threats and insults, this vile man was allowed to stay. Had I been travelling alone, I’d have checked out on the spot.
Breakfast the next morning was the grand finale. The eggs looked like they’d been freeze-dried during the First World War and only just rehydrated for my plate and the sausages had the bounce and chewiness of a well-used flip-flop.
So, if you enjoy paper-thin walls, live earthquake reenactments, lack of management while facing aggressive customers, and breakfast that doubles as survival rations, you’re in for a treat.

"The guests and staff deserve better!"
Hotel is basic but clean. Bathroom is one of the smallest we've had in a premier inn. The restaurant attached is shocking. We were told we wouldn't be able to eat there in the evenings as majorly understaffed so only pre bookings were being accepted. Probably a blessing going by the other comments on dinners. Asked for a couple boiled eggs but they do not have a hob so cant boil the water! One of the guys managed to do me a very nice poached egg. Not the staff's fault, although they all look tired and fed up and who can blame them! This Hotel and restaurant is a 5 minute walk to chessington, something has seriously gone wrong as it should be a really busy place. Premier Inn have really dropped the ball with this one!

"Basic but clean"
Comfy bed and clean room but basic. Walls are paper thin so the first night was a good sleep but not the second night when parents decide not to parent and let their kids scream and roam the corridor until late.
Staff were friendly but did seem quite stretched.
Electrics on left side of bed didn’t work as no reading light or charging point and other side didn’t charge properly.
Room smelt if the aircon wasn’t on and the WiFi is dreadful but breakfast was nice. The free parking was good as Chessington is a 2 min walk away.
Next time we visit Chessington, we’ll stay at one slightly further out which we’ve been to before.

"As above"
The Pieter in its self was ok - dated but clean and comfortable . Air con worked well.
The issue was restaurant attached to it - it was dark - not suitable with someone with any sight issues. It was dreadfully understaffed.
Dinner was : slow to arrive
Beer tap didn’t work
Dinner was cold
Daughters pasta comprised of some cooked and some uncooked
Breakfast was a real disappointment -
Fried eggs could have ben bounced off floor and they would have returned
I’ve never encountered mushrooms so shrivelled
There is a positive - the staff were over worked and when I and several others asked for poached eggs - there was problem and they were good.
The restaurant is pulling the other areas down.
