"Hotel is OK, but don't bother with the restaurant"
The hotel is pretty standard Premier Inn, but the guy on reception didn't look particularly happy to be there, and I had to ask where the restaurant was and if I needed to input my car registration.
The restaurant isn't immediately obvious that it's part of the hotel, there are no signs above the door at all.
I went to the bar and said I'd like to order food, was given a menu and told where to sit. A whole 25 minutes passed with no drink or food order taken, meanwhile staff are at the bar chatting.
Finally my order was taken (it wasn't busy at all) and my food arrived another 25 minutes later. After finishing and leaving my plate for collection, it took 20 minutes for my plate to be taken, and another 30 minutes I'm still waiting for my desert. Another table were also waiting for their desert and the manager eventually asked them if they were still waiting for it. When they said yes he laughed and went in the kitchen. 10 minutes later they left, without desert. At that point I realised I wasn't getting mine either, luckily I was on a meal allowance so I got up and walked out too.
It's also worth mentioning there were only Madri or Moretti on tap, but there was no Madri apparently.
Because of this experience and not having time for this carry on in the morning, I didn't entertain going in for breakfast

"Location good but that is it!!!"
Location good and central, staff awful, didn’t care at all. When checking in 1 member of staff at reception we couldn’t get self checkin to work properly she came over and did t have a clue.
Breakfast was an absolute joke, no one to check our room number, when they did they were on their phone. No mugs,”oh we have been busy I will wash some up “ no plates for continental, 1 Alice of brown bread 1 crumpet, no milk for cereal the list goes on. When mentioned to staff a lot of eye rolling no apology
Worst place I have Stayed and it wasn’t cheap
AVOID at all costs

"WARNING!!! STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE"
We over paid for 1 night tithe sum of £177 for 1 nights stay for a “FAMILY ROOM” 2 adults & 1 child,
On arrival no one was in reception, so we checked in via a terminal, the room number was confirmed, and after a very long day we went to the room for a sleep,
Unfortunately only the double bed was made, our sons bed (which makes it a family room & not a double room) was not made up,
I went downstairs to the lobby to call someone & was met by a member of staff, I explained my concern & asked for customer services number, immediately I was horns number, I called it & it was a reservation number & not customer services, (I wonder why)?
I noticed some guest walking in & shared my dissatisfaction, to which the reply “if you think that’s bad, wait til you go for breakfast before you leave a review! That will give you a chapter on its own!!!
Without a doubt the biggest waste of £177 I have ever spent, & I stay at hotels across the UK weekly,
Do yourself a favour and book a Travelodge or Holiday Inn, or even in some instances a smaller hotel which is not a chain, in my experience not always cheaper but you do get what you pay for without complaining, and very little complaints,
To add to my annoyance I was made to feel I was the inconvenience when I requested the additional bed I had paid for to be made up!

"Help from the wonderful manager saved my weekend!"
The stand out positive of our experience was the brilliant manager who came to my rescue when the padlock on my suitcase jammed, locking everything I needed for the weekend inside. When I spoke to her at the front desk, she was completely unfazed and appeared in our room a few minutes later with a set of pliers. When they weren't up the job, she went and found a hacksaw, and my husband was able to cut through the hasp. Her positivity and persistence in looking for an immediate solution to a problem that was not of the hotel's causing completely saved my weekend and I couldn't be more grateful.
About the hotel itself. It is a newly built Premier Inn and is very quiet, clean and comfortable and has everything you expect from this chain. It is well located for exploring Gloucester as all the main tourist sites are within an easy walk, and is good value for money. We would definitely stay here again.

"Travelodge is healthier"
The Manager of the Premier resteraunt is the most Greediest Selfish and uncaring employee who does not negotiate in emergency housing.. I missed breakfast on all 3 times because of my emergency housing reason making the business 32.70 and I asked Anisa politley for a bowl of chips and she didn't care.
I wouldn't expect much joy coming to the Premier Inn Restraurant as another employee who was completley unaware that is Anisa's little puppet Beth didn't care either for the matter that I was emergency housed and just holding on to my money..
Thiefs, NO CCTV in the Restaurant and in the Hotel they turn off the air vents with a difficult challenge that the older demographic customer will have no chance of turning on.
