Gloucester (Little Witcombe) hotel

Lovely hotel friendly staff, rooms are always clean and have been refurbished recently. Beefeater restaurant on site, with lovely bar area and outdoor seating in the summer months. We always stay at this hotel whilst visiting Gloucester and see never disappointed.

Absolutely love this premier inn , we always stay here when we visit family , staff are amazing and always have little treats for the kids . The play area is also a nice bonus which gives us a bit of peace. We will be back in July for the air show , see you soon !

Clean, well presented room. Friendly service. Vending machine was expensive. Breakfast at the Beefeater was lovely. Continental food was laid out buffet style and the cooked breakfast was cooked fresh to order. There was a good choice of continental options and the cooked breakfast was beautiful. The best poached eggs! The staff were polite, professional and friendly. The breakfast area was spotless and well stocked. Will definitely stay again.

I first visited Little Witcombe Premier Inn as a young girl and I was excited to visit again as an adult. Its in a gorgeous location and we were met with a warm welcome. We booked a Premier plus room and it was gorgeous, modern and its the first time I've seen a Premier Inn with a shower and not a bath so that was a nice surprise. We booked the room/meal/breakfast package and the price was a bargain. The evening meal was lovely, our server was very polite and helpful and the food was delicious especially the short rib. Now for the negatives. The EV charger didnt work which was inconvenient and we had to find an alternative. The walls between rooms seem to be quite thin as we could hear alot of noise including talking, walking, banging, taps running and toilets flushing. I stay in alot of Premier inns and I haven't experienced this before so it was a surprise. The hotel has been in situ a long time so maybe thats why. Breakfast. They advertise it as unlimited but unless you come down early enough theres not much chance of taking advantage of hot unlimited food. The service was a little slow as they were busy and only seemed to have 2 servers for alot of guests. My breakfast consisted of 1 hash brown, 1 tiny sausage, 1 piece of bacon and 1 egg, possibly my fault I didnt realise I had to ask for multiples of each and its not stated or advised to do so. Had I wanted more I doubt there would have been enough time (we arrived at 930 and were served the hot food at 10am, breakfast only runs until 10.30) The breakfast was only ok which is a shame because i love a hotel breakfast. All in all the stay was pleasant but nothing to wow us.

Location is great, staff friendly Room smelled of mouldy shower curtain/urine- it was bad Last orders at restaurant is 8:45pm so take note if you are arriving late like I did
