"Clean and comfortable"
Good location. Staff very friendly and helpful and familiar from previous visits, a good sign. Room as expected, basic but comfortable. In a heatwave, the aircon worked well and wasn’t noisy. Comfortable bed and pillows. Low shower pressure. Only one room in the hotel with a walk in shower, an “accessible “ room. They need more - showers are more popular and use less water!
Restaurant next door good value, again basic but fine. Staff great and we remembered them from a previous visit too. Breakfast good value. Paid parking, but only £3 per 24 hours.
Convenient for our relatives, and close to M5.
Plumbing could use an update.

"Short term profits."
We have used this hotel several times due to its proximity to family members and its value for money, amongst other reasons. Unfortunately, there have been some significant (to me) changes which mean that we will be seriously considering whether we use this venue in the future. The first issue is the fact that, in an area where all parking is monitored, this hotel has decided to start charging for parking on a daily rate. This would appear to be opportunism at the very least. The other issue is that the water pressure has been reduced to a level which defies belief. If I was out walking and it rained at the intensity of the shower in the hotel, I wouldn't even bother with an umbrella. Filling the small kettle from the sink even took a while. The combination of parking charges and low water must be making this hotel very profitable, until people (like us) stop coming.

Halfway stop as usual always stay here when visiting family nice to see the same familiar faces from the staff members this place feels like my home from home and always clean unfortunately there’s now a charge for parking but it’s worth it to have the location that it is compared to others in the area

"Paying for parking and noisy air con"
Parking. Paying for parking. Infuriating.
Also, air con was noisy. Really only made itself known in the night, so not possible to up root a family to ask if there's another room, but I nearly did at several points in the night. It woke my girls up, too. Luckily not at the same time.

"Nice, quiet hotel"
Nice quiet bedrooms and plenty of parking spaces, but one double room only had one bath towel which was dirty and the other hadn't had the bin emptied
