As usual, superb hotel, and what we always expect from Premier Inn. Clean and comfortable, what more do you want. The only fault we found, was at breakfast. Firstly very expensive for what we had. The scrambled egg was tasteless and not good. No tinned tomato's, which is a must with a breakfast. Mushrooms were tasteless, and bacon only half cooked, almost raw. Sausage's were ok. My Wife had two rounds of toast and jam, and got charged for a full breakfast, no choice. It would seem you have to have a full breakfast, which is not on. There should be cost reduction for just toast surely.

It's year since I reviewed this hotel - we stayed there twice in August, going to Cornwall and returning. As good as ever, I just thought Craig the chef warranted a particular mention - he's always happy and obliging and the breakfast is always nicely cooked.

"It does what it says on the tin"
Exactly what we needed: a comfy bed, good breakfast, easy parking and 24/7 access after we had checked in. Flexible booking as well really helped with the last minute changes we had to do.

"A musty experience."
Room had a damp, musty smell which wouldn't go despite windows opening.... Air con was pretty poor. Decor was very tired with lots of cobwebs on surfaces. Bathroom had obviously had a major leak in the past and was in need of work. We were in the area for a family funeral so didn't want the hassle of complaining!
On the plus side, the bedding was clean and the breakfast was excellent.
