Cirencester hotel

For a premier in. You get what you get but there could be a few improvements. Check in: Was really slow it took a while to get checked in and it wasn’t busy at all. It could be a lot more efficient. Room: Bed was okay isn’t wasn’t uncomfortable. Bathroom was clean and the room. However controlling the temperature is not the best. The air con makes a racket when it is on and doesn’t do much at all in cooling the room down. Because of this sleeping was difficult as the room was too warm. Dinner: the young lad that served us was helpful and helped us upgrade our plan. Food was really nice couldn’t fault it at all and really enjoyed. However, the female member of staff that checked us in was on the phone in the entrance for a while and when food needed to fine out the little members of that there were was no where to be seen and the chef had to bring the food out. Mid way through dinner a young that that I think was starting his shift was shouting and moaning about there being no beans or eggs, fair enough that would be annoying if a delivery has missed it off but I’m sure customers don’t need to hear this. But over all food was really good. Staff: a few were lovely I wasn’t able to get their names but some just don’t listen. Like when trying to get into breakfast and asking for my surname which is a double barreld. He proceeded a few times to try and find it under the wrong letter even though I stated it would be under M serval times. And other examples I’ve named above like check in being on their phones etc. I would stay again if needed but I’ve stayed in the town centre and had better experiences.

Great location, convenient base for going around Cotswolds. Parking facilities was really good. Breakfast was good and well serviced. Service was not up to mark and the front door staff weren’t not always responsive. We also had creaking noise from upstairs disturbing our sleep. There was no calling facility so we had to put up. The bathroom wasn’t fully stocked and despite our request nothing was done. Despite a couple of glitches our stay was overall pleasant and I recommend this to others

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was great from start to finish. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room comfy and clean. What made it for us was the on site restaurant. Very modern and clean. £26.99 each for a two course meal with a drink and unlimited breakfast the next morning. We did this two out of the three nights we stayed. Excellent value for money.

I thought I had booked a Plus room ! I was not told there were no plus rooms available for my dates. The prices charged were not clear. I paid £352 for 3 nights with fast internet. I thought for a plus room, no no standard double !! Be very wary of price variations made by Premier Inn.

Great location, nice and quiet, lots of free parking. I am a light sleeper so worried about the bush road and supermarket nearby but didn’t hear a peep. Not as clean as I had hoped. Floors and surfaces looked a bit dirty in my room. Bed was comfy and room was large as I stayed in a premier plus but it felt tired due to not very thorough cleaning. Staff seemed nice but I only saw them when checking in. Doesn’t have the usual pub next door so not really great if you want to have a few drinks in the evening because the dining room is small and gets noisy when busy. Wi-Fi was ok not great and I was on the Ulitmate plan so had hoped it would be better. Overall I’d say my stay was good.
