Cirencester hotel

Everything about this hotel is good apart from the fact that you cannot open the windows in the bedrooms. So on a warm late April day you are forced to lie in bed listening to the air conditioning system and it’s frequent gurgling and rattling. So, you get grumpy with the air conditioning system and turn it off only to wake up sweltering an hour later. This repeats throughout the night. So, despite everything else being g good, the fact that you can’t get a decent night’s sleep means I won’t be staying here again.

Location is great, first impressions outside were great, reception and bar, great. Lovely welcome by the manager. But then we entered our allotted room, no 9 and came to a standstill. Dated and dirty. Two dirty mugs, dust on several surfaces and rolls of it around the bathroom floor. Chunks missing out the walls, A chair that was too stained to sit on. A screwed up shower curtain. The manager did his best to address the problems, but was too busy to give the room a thorough clean. He had no other room to move us to. So we had to spend the night in a dirty room that we had spend £76 on booking. We have now received £36 rebate. Regular users of Premier Inn, but I think this experience has put us off for good

We stayed. It was EXCELLENT. The staff on Saturday night, exceptional. The staff of Sunday morning, excellent. Lovely spotless room. Damp carpet because we think they had cleaned it prior to arrival but no problem for us. Evening meal, so hot, plates hot and food delicious. Good choice at breakfast and plenty of everything. Probably the BEST premier inn Ive stayed in. Thank you to ALL.

I recently stayed at the Premier Inn in Cirencester and had such a lovely experience from start to finish. The whole stay was comfortable, relaxing, and exactly what I needed. A special mention has to go to Britney, the cleaner, who was so friendly and thoughtful. She not only freshened up my room to an amazing standard — it genuinely felt like walking back into a brand-new room — but also took the time to share lots of great ideas on things to do around the Cotswolds, which I really appreciated. It’s little touches like this that really made my stay feel extra special. I’d also like to mention Lilly, who was incredibly kind and helpful during breakfast. She made sure I had everything I needed and went out of her way to make the morning feel welcoming. She’s a genuinely warm and kind-hearted young woman who made a great impression. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I’ll definitely be returning. I would happily recommend this hotel to others.
