Cirencester hotel

We were staying here prior to a wedding and had booked early check in. Upon arrival the receptionist ignored us and took ages with another guest. I had deliberately checked in online so save time and when I mentioned this she snapped that I would have to wait as she was on her own. Then she said that she would have to check if our room was ready? So why did we pay for early check in? Room itself was ok nothing amazing and we didn’t bother with breakfast but my mum said it was rubbish. The room was not cheap and we would not recommend staying here.

Our location was in Cirencester we where there visiting our daughter and grandkids. We had stayed there the year before. We had a room where the air did not work. We had to keep running down to the front dest to have them turn it on. The thermometer was broken. Asked if we could more to another room. (all booked up). So why not send someone to fix it. One of the desk person remembered us from last year and wanted to give us a new room (this never happened). And when the rooms where supposed to be cleaned we only go new towels and bed was made. The bathroom was never touched for cleaning the toliet or bath tub shower door. We were there for 10 days. Gave us a free breakfast I would have a least a free night.

Having stopped in a lot of premiers this isn’t well prepared. Having requested a family room the bed isn’t made and under the main bed is a trip hazard, cigarette burn in the duvet, crumbs on the floor and stinks of damp. The walls quite damaged too. Staff not really bothered or apologetic the room also has a rogue moth. Not impressed really
