"Worst experience."
They are spot on when they say no frills hotel. Wow. I thought premier inn hotels were the best of cheaper hotel stays but this one was grim. No staff on reception and when their screen based check in system doesn’t work and you have to ask their miserable staff, they treat you like a criminal. Less than basic hotel. Dirty rooms, stained carpets, the room stunk, even the soap dispensers didn’t work in the bathroom. Awful coffee too. The staff are ignorant and make you feel very unwelcome. Would never recommend this place. Holiday inn is much better locally if staying for business. At least their staff say hello and don’t glare at you like you shouldn’t be there. Would never stay at premier inn again.

What should have been a restful stay was far from it. Had a noisy guest somewhere close to us which was making a racket late into the night.
Notified the staff who were kind enough to investigate only to relay that they have found out who it is and management are aware yet nothing has been done/actioned. Further information provided was that it was a room that had been provided for temporary accommodation housing! Whilst we had to pay for the room in the hopes of getting rest, it was far from it.
Avoid at all costs if you actually want to rest or sleep

Location easy to find, Atmosphere OK, comfortable quiet clean room. Not sure about self check-in. Good food and restaurant staff.

Premier Inn Hotel Thurrock West is handy for some of the UK's biggest shopping centres, not to mention central London. The M25 is only a couple of miles away, making it easy to get to everything from tourist attractions to business meetings.
Take the little ones into London to some must-see venues like Madame Tussauds or the London Eye. Or get some serious shopping done, either in the West End or at Lakeside, Bluewater or Grays Town Centre. Arena Essex is a great day out for petrol heads. Whatever you do, you'll come back to tasty food at our restaurant and a comfy bed in your room.
