Thurrock West hotel

There were some definite highlights to this stay. The location is incredibly convenient for the motorway and Lakeside Shopping. The room itself was great—very comfy beds, effective blackout curtains, and lovely air conditioning. ​Unfortunately, the service and building quality were severely lacking. Despite hanging our tag on the door by 9 AM, our room was never cleaned. Dining was also a major frustration; we were told we couldn't get a restaurant table for over two hours, yet we could see from our bedroom window that the restaurant was near empty and never even half full. Breakfast wasn't much better, with the hot food trays regularly empty and a coffee machine that constantly required staff attention. ​Finally, the building's floors seem quite thin. We could clearly hear the guest above us pacing throughout the night, which disrupted our sleep. Overall, it's a convenient spot with comfortable rooms, but the hospitality and soundproofing need serious improvement.

Had a lovely stay at premier inn lakeside/ Thurrock. Best day, room was clean and tidy and the everything you could need. Value for money a 10/10 We had an amazing dinner at the restaurant and we was served by the manager Callum, he made us feel so welcome and gave us 5* treatment from start to finish. We had such an amazing time and Callum made our day with his bubbly personality and charm.

Had a wonderful stay at the Premiere Inn with my daughters. Room was very clean and spacious . Comfortable Beds and tea making facilities and top up items in reception if needed . The gentleman on Reception was very friendly and helpful . The restaurant served delicious meals . A very special thanks to the Restaurant Manager Callum Was so very professional . Very attentive to all the customers. So friendly and made us all laugh . Which made our time so very enjoyable. Will definitely return .. Thank you ..

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A special mention for Renata at Premier Inn Thurrock West. I arrived tonight after working around a 16-hour day and made it into the bar shortly before closing, very much ready for a couple of well-earned pints! There was a small mix-up around last orders, but Renata was absolutely lovely. She immediately took ownership of it, apologised and went out of her way to make sure I was looked after even though she was technically off the clock! It might sound like a small thing, but I run a business myself and genuinely believe these moments tell you a lot about somebody. Processes can be taught; genuinely caring about the customer is much harder to teach. Renata is exactly the sort of employee a company should value and recognise. Thank you, Renata – after the day I’d had, that little bit of kindness genuinely made a difference. 🍺

The West Thurrock is in a very good location, with excellent road connections. It isn’t the most atmospheric hotel, we were only here for one night. We paid for an early book in, and thought it worth while. As usual, the room and bathroom were very clean. I mention KELLY who arranged the early book in; she was bright, pleasant and very helpful on the telephone. There was no discernable noise, even though the busy roads and roundabout were nearby. We ate at the restaurant. It was obvious that there were insufficient staff; meals took a long time to arrive, but the staff available worked extremely hard, in particular MARITSA, who was our table waitress. The meal was well cooked and presented, we both enjoyed the salmon. This morning, the breakfast was hosted by AUSRA, who was very pleasant and helpful. We found the room very hot and stuffy, no air conditioning, although there was a fan in the room, it was too noisy.
