"Give customers the option of dinner only!"
Overall the stay was very good. This review isn’t really about the hotel itself but more about the options for eating which I believe is the same for all Premier Inns. The message is basically, why don’t Premier Inn give you a choice of dinner only? You can book breakfast or the meal deal (dinner & breakfast) but no option of dinner only. This is also about trying to connect Premier Inn to book a table for dinner only. We were staying overnight & leaving around 5am the next morning. Only food options available are breakfast or meal deal (dinner & breakfast). I spent around 1/2 - 3/4 hr ringing round in circles with the AI assistant trying to get through to book a table for dinner only. Eventually, the AI assistant did put me through to the hotel where the phone rang and rang and rang so I hung up. All we wanted was a table for dinner! Not much to ask when you're staying at the hotel! My husband tried calling a couple of days before we were staying and managed to get through to someone in reservations. Asked about booking a table for dinner to which he said there is the meal deal or contact the hotel directly. My husband explained that the hotel phone just rings and no-one answers. He wasn't getting anywhere with this. Eventually, the person in reservations said he would contact the hotel and leave a note to say we would like dinner at 8pm on 6th October (can't say I held out much hope). We duly arrived on 6th October and guess what - no note against our room! No surprise really. I did explain to the lady on reception that we had rung reservations and they were going to put a note against our reservation - she said you can go & book in the restaurant and then seeing my face, said I will sort it out. Anyway, went to the bar for a drink, over ten minutes passed and she hadn't gone over so my sister went & booked a table. All we wanted was a dinner reservation - why don't you do just that option? It's ridiculous that you do breakfast or dinner/breakfast deal but not just dinner. About time you changed it. Why would we choose a meal deal when we're not having breakfast? We didn't want to turn up & find out that the restaurant was fully booked and have to find somewhere else to eat (we have had that experience at this Premier Inn previously and ended up having McDonalds!!).
"Overall will never stay at another Premiere Inn again"
The reception smelled of cigarettes, the hallways were dirty and the extra charge of £25.60 for the overnight stay for the car park was adding insult to injury. Overall will never stay at another Premiere Inn again. They used to be well run, clean and good value, not anymore.

Great place to stay for an early Stansted flight. Youssef in the Thyme restaurant was a particular highlight. He was hilarious and also very attentive. Good job, Youssef!!
"Premier inn never fails to impress"
As always, the standard was as expected with the Brand. Room was immaculate including the bathroom. Had an evening meal in Restaurant and enjoyed our selections. Check-in/out was smooth as always. Staff seemed pleased to welcome us and helped book table for dinner.
"Great hotel - additional parking costs"
Good hotel, lovely room and service. Beds were comfy, rooms well decorated. Only down side being the car parking was not included in the price.
