London Stansted Airport hotel

Did the job very nicely - the organisation around the shuttle bus in the morning to the airport was very straightforward, it goes right from the hotel door to the airport and is a quick 15 min journey max, very convenient for an early morning flight. The staff were all very cheery and pleasant, the room was clean and comfy, and the hotel ambience made me wish I could have arrived earlier the night before and taken advantage of the bar!

We stayed here as our flight got in late and our onward travel was booked for the following day. Online check in on the app was so easy - no hassle which was great as we arrived late with a young baby. The room was very clean and tidy and the staff had provided a cot as requested. It eas very quiet, we couldn't hear anyone else around us in the night or morning. Would definitely stay again when using the airport.

Unfortunately I found out the hard way that the last guest to use my bed had wet it! The sheets had been changed but the mattress must have been wet to the extent that it penetrated after I'd been in bed for a while! I went down to the desk and let them know, and to be fair the staff member on duty was very apologetic and moved me straight away to another room. However, I was not AT ALL impressed with the response I got from asking for a refund under the 'Good Night Guarantee' when I rang customer services the next day. I was told that the matter had been rectified so I wasn't eligible for a refund. But moving rooms didn't magically make everything better. After the upheaval of having to get packed up again and getting settled in the new room I had to have a thorough shower (at pushing midnight) which then made it much harder to settle down again, and even in the new bed I felt very 'icky' and did not sleep well. I also had to pack my 'somebody elses urine' contaminated pyjamas in my suitcase and take them on holiday with me! Wrapped up in a bin bag of course, but still, really gross and not a nice start at all to my trip. I stay at Premier Inns a lot but this incident has definitely given me pause - I don't think I'll be using them again.

Krisztina gave a wonderful breakfast service during my stay, she was really helpful and friendly The room was comfy and easy access to the airport.

If you have to stay at Stansted before or after flying, this is the place to be.. Best functioning room layout, seamless automated check-in without queue, no plane noise whatsoever. A restaurant that feels like a restaurant, not a hotel canteen and a comfortable bar. Oh and yes, there's a shuttle every 30 mins that takes 10 minutes to the Terminal.... Simplez!
