    "Nice setting"
This hotel is set in a very tranquil setting with lovely canal walks nearby. We even walked to local leisure park, so enjoyed our walks. This is our 4th time at hotel and did experience cleanliness issues in the past, but felt on this occasion, our .last, to write a review. The initial reception on arrival was very unwelcoming. Considering it being our 4th time. The following morning when we greeted reception with a good morning it was not reciprocated. The hotel has very tired decor. Our room had tired carpet with fray ends at bathroom edge. Fan full of dust. And when you open window we noticed lots of cobwebs. Despite hotel issues, Lovely setting beefeater on site for breakfast which was OK. We won't be returning.
    "Awful place to stay,"
Awful experience. Rooms, small, tired and shabby. Evidently you are only entitled to compensation if you have a “disturbed’ nights sleep. Doesn’t matter that the rooms are awful and require refurbishment. Restaurant appearance of similar disposition.
    "Absolutely full of spiders!"
I stay in Premier Inns all the time, usually a couple of times a month in various locations across the country. This is the worst one I’ve been to. The staff are really friendly so no issues there. My problem is with the cleanliness. There are spiders everywhere. All along the corridors, in the stairwells and we found and removed 5 from our room. The room was dusty and full of cobwebs, around the window, light fittings and across the ceiling. Clearly not been dusted for a very long time, either in this room or the communal areas. Because of this, and the fact that I hate spiders, we had to shut the window which meant it was an uncomfortably hot night. The other issue was the shower, which had a leak so the water sprayed out from above the shower head, hitting the opposite wall and cascaded down to the floor, forming a huge puddle and completely soaking the place. A special mention as well to the bathroom mirror which also had clearly not been cleaned, as a lovely drawing of a penis appeared when the room was full of steam!
    "Great location"
Good value for money. Hotel staff were lovely and very pleasant, rooms were clean and the hotel location was very good, about 1 hour to the emirates stadium. Tesco supermarket 5min away. Plenty on onsite parking. Few slight negatives, we booked 2 rooms(adjoining rooms online when I booked) but when arrived one room was on ground floor and second on a different floor. Ground floor rooms were very warm and stuffy, even with a fan on all night. Breakfast was very nice but I would have preferred a self service breakfast, the hot breakfast did not come with toast, so when you made your own it was cold by the time the breakfast arrived. Overall the hotel was good for what we needed it for a short 1 nights stay,
"Too hot , but did the job."
Slightly disappointed in this Premier Inn but it did the job for a 2 night stay. Gripes are smaller room compared to other premier Inn’s, room was way too hot with mid-high 20’s despite being much cooler outside. No aircon available, only a small desk fan which was ridiculously full of dust so barely worked as it should. Younger girl on reception needs to learn some customer service / engagement. It’s not the ritz but some kind of brief conversation or welcome would be nice when booking in. Free parking is a big positive (make sure you put reg into computer at the desk)
