Harlow East (Church Langley) hotel

We booked here due to bereavement, so travelled up on that day to spend time with the family and onto a service the following morning. The reception area stunk of cigarette smoke and was un-manned but someone did eventually appear. In our room the TV remote did not work and stuck on 1 channel so visited reception 4 times for 2 new sets of batteries and 3 different controllers and by the last occasion the staff member looked irritated and uninterested so l gave up. When we checked out we informed them of the TV issue and they offered us a free “Breakfast” but had to decline as we were on our way to the funeral at that point, so they informed us to put our compliant through Customer Service whom would action something for us, to then 20 days later receiving a reply so wooden and robotic as it seemed to lack any genuine sincerity or empathy that l thought it was either a BOT or AI generated where they plagiarised my original email by liberally peppering it with many “SORRYS”. Though here is the best bit, which after a couple more emails for them failing to deliver what they advertised with just “We appreciate you taking the time to make us aware of your experience. Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback with Premier Inn.” Therefore nothing but word salad while you bombard my email address daily with SPAM and even 4 emails offering me “unlimited FREE breakfast” in a week...... So what you are saying to me is, if l made a compliant of a bad experience and poor service you offer me “Word Salad” though if l am on your mailing list l get an “unlimited FREE breakfast” But TBH we may have dodged a bullet from the reviews on here about their “Great unlimited FREE breakfast” when available.....

I could not fault my stay at the hotel, the room was exceptionally clean, quiet, spacious and comfortable. It had everything I needed for my seven night stay and the free parking was also an added bonus. I've never experienced such a quiet room, it really made a pleasant change to other hotels I've stayed in. Being on my own meant I needed to feel safe and secure of which I 100% did. All the staff were friendly and helpful especially Mark on reception who would always wish me good morning and have a quick chat before I left for work. Well done Premier Inn Church Langley for providing a five star stay, i would definitely recommend.

Arrived to find I had mixed up my reservation, so a huge thank you to Suzanne for sorting it out and making sure I could stay for the evening. Clean room great service with a smile

Convenient location not far from Stansted. Easy parking. Air con in the rooms. All very efficient… The room is as expected and the beds super comfortable. Nearby supermarket for any needed snacks…
