Harlow East (Church Langley) hotel

Bit of mix up when I booked but quickly sorted out by your friendly staff. Clean and comfy

On arrival our rooms stank of dog there was a wet dirty towel in the bathroom, Which I handed in and made housekeeping aware of the smell I was handed air freshener. We were in a rush and would have asked for a room change had we the time especially after finding a packet of dog treats. On further inspection there was chocolate bits on the floor and a kinder egg shell under our tougher bed, also we found rubbish and little i presumed kinder toys . In all it was quite dirty and i suspect not cleaned effectively. Had stayed previously twice no issues but this time has put us off. No sleep as the room above were pacing all night. Bed didn’t have the comfort of a premier inn bed either. In all a very dissatisfying stay. Staff were apologetic and friendly but I shall be taking this further as it’s simply not good enough.

Nice hotel, surprisingly quiet given the location. However the wifi that I paid extra for didn't really work - kept dropping out so I had to tether to my phone and I could hear every time the people upstairs got out of bed in the night which woke me up several times.

Perfect overnight stay before going to Stansted airport early in the morning. We arrived quite late on Friday 13th and the staff member was really helpful and friendly and helped checked us in. Bed was really comfy for the night! We also really appreciated the little thank you card and Rocky chocolate bars - we will definitely be staying here again if we are in the area! Free parking also.

Nice hotel but breakfast at the pub a bit lacking. I booked a continental and the choice was quite dismal, possibly the worst ever. A large table behind me all had cooked breakfasts which looked great, but they were cooked to order rather than help yourself buffet style. The whole point of the buffet is you can keep going back for more! I like the location of this hotel and have stayed previously but never had breakfast there before. Doubt I would bother again. Also as a disabled guest, the walk over to the pub is a bit of a trek especially on a wet miserable December morning
