"Ideal location and everything you’d expect from a Premier Inn"
Frequent stayer - everything you expect from a Premier Inn.
Located moments away from the train station, it is ideally placed for a stay in central Chelmsford.
No parking onsite except for disabled however there is a local multi-storey just behind the train station at £11 for circa 24 hour period,
Onsite bar/restaurant that serves evening meals and buffet breakfast.
Staff are always attentive and helpful with rooms being comfortable and usual Premier Inn standard.

"The Best Of The Best"
This was the best place that I have ever been a guest with. I was given the special touch and felt deeply valued as a guest. The hotel was first class, all-round luxury with good food. Everything you need for perfect night's stay.
What really made my stay the absolute pleasure it was has to be the special touch I was given by Giulio. The perfect host, polite, helpful and he couldn't do enough for me.

"Hotel concierge"
The concierge Mo was very welcoming and friendly. His hospitality and willingness set me up perfectly for the rest of my evening.

"Joanna is a very helpful staff member."
Joanne is really helpful and friendly. She was what made the review a 5. Self service check in was simple but not a very friednly welcome. The room was tired, smelled a little musty, limited tea and coffee in the room, no extra towel (although Joanna found me one when asked). The shower gel dispenser didnt work. An ok room. Will stay here again.

"In Gods Name don’t do it!May not April!"
I have been lucky enough to stay in all levels of hotels around the world including New York Costa Rica Sri Lanka India Hong Kong Italy - from Oberoi to Travel Lodge- never have I been to a less welcoming hotel EVER nor paid an eye wateringly high charge for the ‘privilege ‘ from the front entrance ( if you are arriving by car don’t expect to see a sign unless you have a periscope - it’s about 50 M up the side of the building. The foyer - ( I use the term grudgingly as it was more like the foyer in a multi story carpark) to this self service hotel was totally lacking in personality or welcome. Needless to say we didn’t have the required ref as we had booked with Agoda & don’t know why. No ability to use a trolley for luggage. I did get offered help but declined as I had no change and didn’t want the embarrassment. Which is a shame because if the staff had been with me when I got into the room I think their embarrassment at finding the meanest of rooms ( ok I guess that’s what they offer but no loo brush no safe I’m surprised the towels weren’t chained to the wall - but the fact that the only table a console desk had clearly had a huge iron mark or water mark making it look dusty was a bridge too far. No pride or respect for customers £150 for 1 night - no breakfast - no not last minute booked nearly 4 months ago. We were there for a birthday in Chelmsford and many others had booked their rooms the day before or in one case hours before 1 for almost half price but others for well under what we paid - so you would have least thought knowing what we paid they would have given us a better room eg smarter ( better would require a rebuild )
Words fail me but under no circumstance stay here opt for out of town & uber it
