Braintree (Freeport Village) hotel

I stayed here for two nights in September while attending a friend’s wedding at the nearby Leez Priory, and I couldn’t have been happier with my stay. From the moment I checked in, all of the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. A special mention has to go to Charlotte (Charley), who was very approachable, friendly and extremely easy to get along with. The room was very comfortable and well equipped with everything you could need during your stay. The only thing I felt was missing was a safe. Breakfast was excellent and very good value for money. I particularly appreciated that it was freshly prepared rather than being a buffet, which made it feel that much better. If I’m ever in Braintree again, I would have absolutely no hesitation in staying here. A big thank you to all the staff for being so welcoming and helpful throughout my stay — I really enjoyed my time here

Our stay at the Premier Inn Braintree Freeport Village Hotel exceeded expectations mainly because of all the wonderful staff. My brother and I were visiting the area to attend a wedding but extended our stay as we grew up in Braintree as children and had not returned for some 40 years. The hotel provided all the Premier Inn facilities we (I in particular) are used to and value but the staff really made our stay, everyone seemed genuinely interested in giving us the best service and experience and whilst I have stayed at many Premier Inns over the years this proved to be the best in terms of its staff - and it made such a difference. Thank you to the team for making our return to Braintree so enjoyable and we will definitely stay with you again should we return in the future.

Excellent staff- warm , friendly and helpful.Room and all parts of building clean and attractively presented.Bed and room very comfortable. Traditional and continental breakfast excellent. Very good chef and staff work quickly and efficiently. Have just returned home after staying at the hotel for a two day visit. august 23 and 24. Have used the hotel on several occasions to explore the area and to meet up with friends and family. One thing that would improve the hotel in the long term would be the introduction of a lift between floors. Am confident we will stay there again.

Shame there was no air con especially during a heat wave. Food was nice and bathroom was good. Reception was a bit unfriendly but breakfast team were lovely.

Really well located for access to both the Business area, local amenities and the town itself. Lovely friendly staff, very welcoming atmosphere throughout the whole hotel. Rooms are well maintained and kept clean at all times. No late night disturbances, very pleased with the noise reduction. Great value for money and a wonderfully pleasant stay. Will definitely be using this hotel again for future business stays.
