"This hotel is tired to exhaustion......."
2nd time staying at this hotel, family close by. Had to pay high prices to park! Advised on the journey down that the restaurant was closed, for diner and breakfast.
The whole place needs a good clean. The carpets in the corners of the room were grey with dust, so that is not a few weeks of not vacumming, but years. Walls battered to bit. Tea stains on the walls around kettle.... and the bathroom, there is not enough room to list the problems in there. List is endless.
Would use the word tired, but EXHAUSTED, is a better description of this Premier Inn.

"AMAZING!!!"
MARVELOUS!!! We arrived very late at night (booked late in the afternoon) and was pleasantly surprised when a friendly happy face welcomed us. Room was immaculate and I slept like a baby, despite being a light sleeper. This morning was greeted by another friendly face on reception (Courtney) who was super lovely and accommodating. You just cannot ask more of a hotel and of wonderful staff. It makes you want to apply for a job here and join the happy gang. It makes all the difference to your stay. I will definitely be back. Thank you!

"Can do better"
No food, please do something about air condition. Noisy fans are not the solution. Good, professional friendly staff can't cover for the hotel business short comings

"Appalling stay!"
We have had a horrendous time at a recent stay at premier inn Basildon (East Mayne).
We arrived to the room to stuff all over the floor which has not been tidied up, but it seems as if it came from the fan because as soon as the fan was turned on more dust was shot across the room, covering us in dust. Not good in a heatwave! We then proceeded to have a shower , to find the shower start to fill up with water as it was blocked. We looked at the plug to find a lot of hair blocking the plug.
There was also a large fly in the room that was buzzing all night.
Following this we had paid for breakfast in the morning, which is support to start at 7, however nothing was ready, meaning we had to leave without having anything to eat.
Absolutely appalling stay.

"Stay at premier inn"
The restaurant was closed could not transfer to another hotel and it needs updating. The room was so hot only fans a portable AC would have been better

In just 20 minutes you could be sandcastle building at the great British seaside at Southend, or living it up at Basildon Sporting Village and Festival Leisure Park.
