    "Poor ventilation"
    Clean room very poor ventilation , room had no air conditioning system only relying on small fan could only open a gap on window, extremely warm room
    "Pleasant surprise after avoiding due to previous negative experiences here."
    Previously I had avoided this premier inn, preferring Lewes, however - pleasant surprise awaited Newhaven has had along overdue refurbishment and no longer has a stale smell, tatty decoration or looks tired and had its day. I slept well in a nice room. Bed was so comfortable and it was a lovely stay. I will happily return.

    i had to pay £15 on top of the £200+ room charge for getting in at 1pm. There was no lavatory paper in the room. Otherwise okay
    "Good value accommodation near Brighton"
    Stayed at Newhaven Premier Inn as we were visiting nearby Brighton but this was much better value/had availability for our party size. Lots of parking and the on-site bar/restaurant was good. Premier Inn breakfast great value. (Stayed in December 2023, but didn't finish the review until now.)
    "no air-con"
    Felt very let down by premier inn this time. Unfortunately we stayed during the heat wave and our room was suffocating. For security reasons the window will only open 2-3 inches which would be acceptable if there was decent air conditioning!. Premier inn had placed two fans in the room but all these did was move the hot air around and they were so noisy we could barely hear the tv. Sleeping was impossible - you either couldn't sleep because of the noise from the fans or you turned them off and cooked...We left at 3.30 am because we couldn't stand it any longer. One positive is they have recently decorated and replaced the carpets so it is looking nice and clean. We will not be staying during the summer months again.

Thanks to our spot between Brighton and Eastbourne, our Newhaven hotel is an ideal base for UK coastal breaks. For a breath of fresh air and unbeatable sea views, a trip to the Seven Sisters Country Park is a must, or why not relax and unwind on a beach? You’ll have two right on your doorstep – Newhaven East and Newhaven West – as well as Brighton Beach further down the coast. After fun days out in East Sussex, head back to our Drove Brewers Fayre for mouth-watering   meals before drifting off to sleep on a super-comfy bed.
