      "little issue was a big problem"
      The stop over for three couples was ok, there was planed refurbishment going on which we had been notified at the time of booking, two static fans were in place in all rooms to help compensate for the temporary lack of air con.one fan had unreadable instructions with it and just ran all night not directed to the bed at all and was exceptionally noisy unlike the other one. in the morning at breakfast we all agreed that the idea of not putting any toilet brushes in any bathrooms was really embarrassing for all six of us ! this policy is a step backwards as i find the idea that, A . you called reception to send a cleaner before my partner was able to use the toilet or,B. put up with a dirty toilet , lets face it who would ant to steal a contaminated toilet brush ? i will not use this hotel chain again until this policy is reversed. shame really as the room was clean comfortable.
      "Overnight only"
      Found the hotel easily walking from the station. Check-in was easy and tge reception staff friendly. Room was great for one night. Bed was comfy and the bathroom & shower were fine. Lots of hot water in the morning. Slept ok but it was extremely hot weather. There was no a/c but fans were provided which meant it was cool enough for me to sleep. Check out was straight forward. Would use again if catching the ferry to Dieppe.
      "Not great"
      Not a great stay, unfortunately. The good bits were that we were greeted by friendly staff and the room had comfy bed. Not pleasant though, to see an exceptionally dirty toilet bowl. During the night, the guttering was either leaking or overflowing, which created a small but very noisy waterfall onto the windowsill most of the night. Our lack of sleep and poor mood wasn't improved in the morning, when there was no hot water available.
      "Total rip off "
      Arrived at hotel after 7 hours on the road to be told you can't check in until 3p.m, I said are the rooms ready, the staff member said yes, so why are we having to pay an extra £15 for each of our two rooms to check in before 3p.m if the rooms are ready. Total rip off, that's me done with premier inn, and lucky enough we didn't prepay for breakfast as the food in the brewers fayre next door is disgusting. Standards and quality have gone down the pan. Used to often stay in premier inns but no more after this one
      "Fantastic Revamp"
      We stayed in one of the revamped rooms and it's was outstanding and spotless. Great for the value, staff were really friendly. Rainforest shower was great and room spacious and quiet. Pub serving food and drink attached which saved a walk into town or a delivery.
