"Good nights sleep!!"
Just wanted to say that Dan on reception went above and beyond to make sure my stay was good. I had just finished a night shift and he accommodated my needs by giving me a quiet room out of the way. My only complaint would be that the bathroom had a very musty damp smell. But as I was only there for a few hours sleeping this didn’t affect my stay. There’s not much to do around this area unless you have a car. The parking was free you just had to register at reception. It’s next door to a beefeater for breakfast etc. if you have a car the local garden centre at paradise park is nice to pop into.

"Filthy dirty room. Not serviced, Any type of refund refused."
Avoid at all cost. Disgustingly dirty room.
We found numerous pubic hairs on the bed and pillows. Only 1 towel for 2 of us and shower gel empty.
We arrived at hotel after a 6 hr drive from Cornwall, exhausted.
Went out into Newhaven for some dinner ( avoid Beefeater next door, food poor).
Returned to hotel, pulls back bed covers , found numerous public hairs in bed.
We were so tired , it was 9:00pm and we were up at 05:30 next morning, brushed pubic hair off bed and tried not to think what sleeping on.
Next morning at 5:30am discovered only 1 towel and no shower gel.
Complained to lady on reception when leaving at 6:10am. She said would log issue and we could sort on our return to UK.
This lady we later discovered was actually on housekeeping team, so no surprise when we found nothing logged as a complaint.
Returned to UK week later. Raised with the “ customer relations dept “.!!
They twice have refused any kind of refund or partial refund.
They say we should have raised with reception at the time.
So in their view we should have gone to reception At 9:00pm and asked the 1 person on duty to change all bedding. Which no doubt would have take us past 10:00pm.
We needed to sleep and it is their issue the room clearly has not been serviced ed properly when you take into account the other items below.
So presumably at 5:30 am we should have gone to reception and notified about the showe gel and towel. Which would have taken a while and we would have missed our ferry.
It’s dirty, the customer service is lousy , avoid. There are other hotels near by where if any issue you can deal with owner and not some “bot” god knows where on the planet

"Don't settle for a ground floor room."
We were warned the day before arrival, that the attached pub/Restaurant was not serving evening meals due to a staffing problem.
This may possibly be a wider problem with the group. As I had heard of another premier Inn with a beefeater attached was also having problems.
We were assured breakfast service was unaffected.
Ours was a ground floor room, there was no air-conditioning just a table top fan. During a UK heatwave it was not the best option.
We were catching an early ferry the following morning and thought an overnight stop near the ferry terminal would be more restful than driving the 3.5 hours to the port in the early hours. How wrong could we have been.
We opted for an early night due to the early 05:30 alarm call to make breakfast at the 06:30 start time in order to get to the ferry terminal before the check in closed.
We had not expected the sound deadening between the ground and first floor to be nonexistent. As we lay in bed listening to someone above us walking, very heavily footed from one side of the room to the other for over an hour and a half.
The better option would be to stay home and drive down in the early hours. Premier inn is not as good as it once was, sadly this seems to be a more often than not instance. When we were returning from the town having sourced a local pub for dinner, we heard the desk clerk calling tomorrow nights bookings to say there would be no diner service again in the attached pub.
Irrespective of what the breakfast service was like, I think premier inn is now a no no for these adventures.

"A less than premier Inn"
Expensive for a hot (only fan no AC) and noisy stay. Disappointed given my usually good experiences with Premier Inns. Location to the ferry port its one saving grace.

"Great for Love Supreme Festival!"
I stayed at this Premiere Inn whilst attending Love Supreme Festival and had a great stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and warm and the room was spacious, clean with lots of great amenities. The large Sainsbury’s next door is great and it was easy to get Ubers or use the train 10mins away from Newhaven town. Considerably better value than Brighton or Lewes. Would recommend!
