Eastbourne Town Centre hotel

Nice inn. Very comfortable,helpful staff. Bed and bedding very good .Nice cold room in the heat..Great... Good breakfast...

Premier Inn is value for money. The hotel at Eastbourne is ideal for transport, seafront, town centre, cafes and restaurants and theatre's. Railway Station 10 mins walk Seafront less than 5 minutes walk Theatres 10-15 minutes walk Buses across town and county 10 minutes walk. Whilst this hotel is very convenient for all the facilities it is also quite quiet location.

All Good Except one thing. We came down for breakfast as usual at 9.30am on 6/6/25 and expected a cooked breakfast. There was no staff there expect 2 managers and it was not busy that morning. They did not acknowledge us or say why we would not be getting a cooked breakfast which we paid for in advance. They carried on ignoring us, and eventually I went up to the male manager at the desk and he said "All right? I replied "No". I asked him for a full refund for two breakfasts as we had already paid for them. "We can only refund you for a Continental breakfast, but we said we did not have a Continental breakfast and my partner had to go out and buy a sandwich from a convenience store. There was no apology or explanation as to why the chef and server were not present. The Managers said they would refund us for the breakfasts, but this did not happen as on the day we left we asked the receptionist to check if this had been done, but no. They only refunded us for the Continental. This was put right by the Receptionist. As we were on a walking holiday we needed a cooked breakfast as fuel to do the walking each day. As managers I am very dismayed by there customer service and attitude.

This feels like a hostel, not a hotel. As you arrive, the first thing you notice is the filthy windows and then you step straight into a tired 'lobby'. Carpets throughout are worn and the lighting is very dingey. In our bathroom, there was a thick layer of dust on the skirting boards. The staff were friendy enough but one night here was enough and we won't be returning. Its a shame as we have only ever had very positive stays at Premier Inns in the past.

Bed was comfortable and clean.Bathroom was not clean especially the shower head and door rubber was pinky red colour which is clearly Bacteria and a Hazzard to ones Health. We csme Home from our day out ready to chill in our room only to find it had not been cleaned even though we requested at reception and also had a clean my room door hanger displayed.
