"Typical Premier Inn except for yhe noise"
Very near a busy road so you get noise from there throughout the night. Additionally and unusually for Premier Inns there was a lot of noise from the corridor and adjacent rooms

"Comfortable but noisy room due to people traffic at entrance."
I asked for a quiet room as I was working the following day and was given room above the main entrance so I was kept awake by workmen talking and smoking outside, near the entrance. It appears that Premier Inn is a popular stopover for the trades. I was under the impression that it offered a slightly more up-market accommodation to Travelodge. Not the case. I’ll stay at a Travelodge next time I’m working away.
