Hull City Centre hotel

Fabulous positive stay. Excellent location just steps from old town historic district. Our plus room was spotless. Everything super clean and quality. We ate at the hotel restauranr and it was very good. Would certainly book this hotel again. Loved it.

First impressions when I arrived at the hotel were ok, I thought the design of the building was "interesting". Parked the car up and paid at the machine in the car park, made my way to the reception, was great to see the building was decorated with pride flags to celebrate pride month. The reception was clean and well presented, the staff friendly and efficient. I made my way to my room, which was clean, airy and spacious. I ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was lovely, breakfast the next day was of equal quality with a good choice of continental and cooked options available. My check out was effortless, and overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to colleagues, friends and family who may find themselves in Hull.

I had a very nice stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was a great size and very comfortable. Having a fridge was fantastic, as I was able to grab some bits from Tesco and put them in there. The complementary water was a lovely touch, and the coffee machine was fantastic and exactly what I needed after I arrived and in the morning. I also really liked the vanity mirror for getting ready, as I was going to a wedding. The lighting in the room was great; I really liked the options that were there. The TV was also great and worked well. The bed was very comfortable and warm, also the chairs and footstool were a great touch and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic; it had everything you would want. It was cooked well and tasted lovely. I also felt safe in the hotel, and I liked the fact you couldn't get past the seventh floor without a keycard. It was also the hotel felt very accessible from a disability point of view. I've recently had health complications, and this was the first time I have stayed away from home by myself. I felt like I could get everywhere I needed with difficulty and support was available if required. There were parts of the room which were a bit tatty, in the sense of holes in some of the wooden furniture. This did not affect my stay but from a Premier Inn point of view, presentation wise, it's a shame. The hair drier in the room kept cutting out, I think the wire may have been faulty. I had brought my own, so it wasn't a problem for me but if I hadn't that would have been a big issue as I was going to a wedding. There was one glass in my room that hadn't been cleaned properly or it hadn't been noticed it had been used. There was lipstick on the rim. It was only me in the room, so I choose to set it aside and just use the one, but it was annoying that had been missed. From a cleanliness point of view and I only had the one glass to use. I had received an email saying the aircon wasn't working in the room, only to find out on the morning I was leaving that it was actually working. That was a bit frustrating. The only other thing I noted was the lack of storage space. I understand it’s a hotel room, there is limited space, and some people may not unpack. But a little draw or cupboard space under the vanity mirror would be slightly useful, just to put the little things you may bring. This is purely a personal thing though, as I didn't want to leave my suitcase open on the floor. But all in all, I had a great stay and would stay with you again.

We stayed at this Premier Inn in Hull city Centre as we were attending a family party in the city. From the moment we arrived the welcome was warm and friendly. The room was clean and we had a great view of the river and city Centre. The shower was hot and hotel amenities great. We decided on a couple of drinks prior to the party in the hotel bar and the barman there was so incredibly friendly that it really did make our stay. Have not lived in Hull for many years I can honestly say his kind and personable approach to us was just so refreshing and made me proud to call this my home city. What a credit he is to the hotel and the perfect person to have behind the bar!

We had a great stay at Hull’s premier inn. Staff were welcoming and helpful throughout. There were little added extras like colouring for kids which I’d not seen at any other premier inn we’ve stayed at. Room was clean, breakfast area was light and roomy. Location was brilliant to be able to access everything on foot. Would highly recommended :)
