Goole hotel

The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. The fridge was very handy and I appreciated the complementary water in there. Pretty quiet and private room. I have lodged a separately complaint about one member of VERY rude staff! The reception staff when I checked out were really lovely. Also the room was a premier plus, so more money, but I felt the facilities were worse. Sure the fridge was handy and the decor was modern and more homely, but worth the cost? Not so sure! There was no control over the aircon. This was not explained. It randomly kept turning on all night. The heating on the other hand, seemed to be entirely switched off at night. I couldn’t sleep because I was shivering. I nearly left at 2am. You should either have controllable aircon, or the opening windows. I enquired with the reception lady about this earlier but due to the rudeness and bluntness, I didn’t wish to enquire again after the response I received prior, so lodged my complaint. Also, parking was terrible. I managed to squeeze into the last space, in between a car that was parked over the white line.

I've been staying here for the last 6 months for work. Best I can say is it's somewhere to sleep. Pretty dull at best. The staff, hardly smile or interact.

We choose this particular premier inn for its perfect location.However on this occasion the division of staff was skewed and left a wonderful lady in the restaurant to single handedly run a very busy breakfast(a second member of staff was called in but too late to make any significant difference) whilst reception was over staffed.The bathroom was especially noisy and made a nonsense of their good sleep mantra which they pride themselves on.Overall it was good value for money but if you are going to encourage guests to eat there then staff division will have to reflect this.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Only one comfy chair in a double room and no coffee table meant the room did not fully function. Too few staff at breakfasts mean each self service station was missing items such a plates, bowls bread etc. This meant all customers were impatient at the stations and lost and calm atmosphere

We inadvertently booked a Premier Plus room and now we wouldn't stay in an ordinary room if we have this option. Mood lighting, two comfy armchairs, a fridge and a Nespresso machine were just some of the perks. The bed was a super king and the mattress was so good we're going to get our own. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
