Beverley Town Centre hotel

The premier inn at Beverley is situated in the perfect place for visiting this lovely town. It's a quite place .the outside of the building is clean . On entering the reception is clean and tidy .we were quickly registered and given our room keys . Our rooms were on 3rd floor ,standard P I room decent size room ,big comfy bed lots of plug sockets ,, big screen tv , hairdryer, kettle with the usual tea/coffee , the usual information cards . I do feel however that the rooms net curtain was passed it's best too long so hung weird and a bit grubby looking .1 of the coat hangers were missing a small item i know but when there is so few each one is required. We were greeted at the restaurant by very pleasant staff , it's a self service breakfast, loads of choice unlimited no reason to go hungry all very good tasty and quality. The evening meal was i am sad to say let me down, 1st evening the food and service was very good ,the fish and chips hot and tasty and a good size portion. 2nd evening . I am at a loss to understand what went wrong I asked for a burger which came with chips and coleslaw, you had the option to go bun free in exchange for a rocket and tomato salad , so I choose the bun free option and also no chips . I am sorry to say that what I received was a joke . I got chips ,coleslaw, a bit of limp lettuce. And 2 very burnt burgers in a bun !!! ..3rd evening I requested the spinach and ricotta ravioli you can choose your sauce i choose tomato .After a long wait they brought out my partners meal and said yours was pesto sauce? I said no so had another wait for the correct meal ..which was very nice .My partners meals were all correct and served as requested. If it was not for the very pleasant front of house staff I would have been very annoyed But I do feel they need to listen to the customers requests as why bother with putting the choices on the menu in the first place. We were happy with our stay and will return.

We had a bit of an issue with our booking after asking for an amendment with Customer services. I wasn't confident that the young man I spoke to had understood our issue and upon arrival I was proved right. However the young ladies on reception were excellent and sorted it out. All staff were lovely and the room was very clean. Would definitely stay again

The stay here was ok, but felt a lot more tired and rundown than other premier inns I have stayed in. We had to change rooms as we had paid for twin beds but got given a double room (perhaps as we checked in using the self service?). The staff were a real standout though especially the chef (I think he was called James) who made my mum vegetarian sausages to order every morning. Parking was £20 for 48 hours in the car park next door so not too bad. The beds were very comfy and the room was very quiet. The more I write the more I wonder why I didn't throughougly enjoy my stay... I think it's just because overall it felt rundown and in need of a refresh!

My room smelt of damp, it was unbearable. Aside from that it was average for a Premier Inn. Location is great, Beverly is lovely it’s near the town/minster/train but just not a great hotel. Staff were helpful but I wouldn’t return.

Very clean and comfy bed. Central to Beverley. On checkout I was waiting in reception and 3 separate staff initiated conversation . I am sorry didn’t get names but one had just returned from Croatia for their holiday. It is our 3/4 stay there as we have friends locally and have stayed in a few places there but will only now stay here
