Weymouth hotel

Avoid at all costs. We booked a Premier Plus room in the hope that this would be the best possible. On arrival Peter organised our keys to room 211. However when we got to the room we were not happy. Some details we could live with - there was pen scribbled on the wall and bleach marks on the carpet. However there were no towels and the bathroom floor was dirty, with spots of urine in front of the toilet. The surface where the kettle is located was also filthy. So we went back and spoke to Peter who then allocated us to 210. On inspection we noticed the carpet was dirty but Peter explained that there was nothing he could do because this was down to the robot hoover that doesn’t work well. The bathroom floor and counter looked cleaner however and so we accepted the room. There were still no towels but Peter sorted this out. Once we began to settle in however we were not happy. We realised the kettle was disgusting, there were dirty marks on the bench, and the final straw was that we noticed the shower head was literally oozing with black slimy mould. We decided we would not and could not stay. So we went back down to Peter, to find him dealing with a whole pile of guests also complaining about their rooms, some not cleaned and not ready, some unclean. These people had come from a funeral and were not in the best of moods. It was 8:45pm and there was clearly an issue with the cleaner since it is really unusual for rooms not to be ready at this time, and the cleaner seemed to be working on our floor…although the quality of his work was obviously substandard. Poor Peter, when I explained our situation literally looked as though he was about to break down. It was absolutely not his fault. He was doing his best with an untenable situation. He agreed there was no resolution and so we left for another hotel. Thankfully I found somewhere else that could accommodate us. I have to say, the communal areas were awful too. Bags of rubbish left around and absolutely filthy carpets. Honestly though, Premier Inn ought to do better. This was shocking.

After having been a loyal customer to "premier" inn, I have to say there is absolutely nothing premier about this hotel. I paid £96 for 1 night stay plus £19.98 for 2 breakfast. First off we was greated with a sign saying there is no breakfast due to no water (had previously been blamed on a leaking roof 5 days earlier). We was offered breakfast at there other hotel with no option for refund. You can Imagine the carnage at the other hotel having to accommodate 2 hotels worth of customers at breakfast! Upon entering room 102 we was greeted with a stale smell of mould and then no AC. The rooms was listed as having full AC. The unit was working but no cold air was coming out. We had to leave the unit on all night on full speed just to stop us from burning up. Obviously we couldn't sleep with the noise it made so the "goodnight sleep guarantee" was laughable. The room hadn't been cleaned properly as there was a Mcdonald bag under the bed for food mcdonalds don't even sell anymore. The bedding had a stain on it and so did the towels. Not to mention the rust on the shampoo bottles and shower. All in all it was a terrible experience and not what you would expect from a "premier" hotel. The peirced guy (paul) on reception clearly doesn't like his job and maybe needs a career change. One to avoid for sure.

The room was meant to have a cot bed, but this was not provided. We asked at the desk and one was brought to us, but without any bedding. We had to use our own duvet as a sheet/mattress for our child. The restaurant was shut due to a leak and no alternatives for breakfast were offered. Because we had booked breakfast on a promotional deal, we were told there was no refund available or anything the hotel could do. I was advised to contact customer services, who also stated there was nothing they could do—despite us having to spend an extra £100 for breakfast elsewhere. The room window was dirty and the paint was peeling off. To top it off, staff didn't seem happy to help; it felt like we were inconveniencing them when asking for basic necessities like towels for a family room, the requested cot bed, cot bedding, or enquiries about breakfast. We've stayed here a few times before and have always been happy, but this visit was thoroughly disappointing.

We booked as we received an email offer, free breakfast for everyone.i thought a great half-term treat by the sea. Unfortunately at check in was advised the restaurant was closed and they weren't sure if it would be available in the morning and to call. Being a Sunday night the supermarkets were now closed. If they had called in advanced we could have collected pasties from a supermarket etc. We called the reception in the morning to be told there was no chance breakfast was ever going to be on due to a leak. Very hungry children so we then had to walk to the local shops to buy breakfast, disappointed children as they were expecting all you can eat pancakes, pastries, muffins,fruit etc. Communication is awful. It wouldn't have taken long to call or email to advise and we would have changed the date of our stay. Kindly stripped the beds to find a lot of stains over the double duvet. Suitable for the bin. Went to reception to complain, the male was sat with his head on the desk, possibly asleep and a girl was sat on her mobile. Decided a complaint wouldn't get us anywhere.

Nicely situated although the traffic on Saturday was horrendous because of the retail park opposite. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was good except the carpet was stained a lot. I booked a table for dinner on Saturday evening but the restaurant was closed due to a leaky roof. Not anyone’s fault but I wish I had been informed. Went to McDonalds across the road. Restaurant and bar was closed Saturday and Sunday.
