"2 night girls trip to Weymouth"
Just returned from this trip, there is no lift at this hotel, which we knew about and didn't bother us, room, a premier plus, was clean and a nice room, however the check in process was a car crash, arrived at 5pm along with the tail end of a coach party of 80 Ukranian soldiers, had to stand in a very hot sweaty small reception area along with of them, whilst they checked in, the receptionist had a fan directed at her, one beside her which could have been directed to the customers was turned off. No apology from her for the delay. We booked the meal deal, located in the Brewers Fayre next door. Breakfast was ok, however evening meal was a disaster, food was ok when it eventually arrived, but the service was atrocious, orders missed, a long wait on food, no apology, plates left uncleared for at least 30 mins , so 2nd course delayed too. Total lack of staff because all they were interested in was the soldiers, who we as tax payers, were funding. Very disappointed, lucky the weather was perfect, Weymouth lovely, find somewhere else to stay.
"Not happy with Weymouth Sea Front hotel"
A good night's sleep, but dirty bathroom, especially the toilet, plus the carpet under the bed had not been hoovered, very dusty; usually a trundle bed under the bed - this wasn't there this time, so a large visible void under the bed which was plain to see that the carpet had not been hoovered properly for some time - asked to change rooms, but told that no other rooms were available. Breakfast on our 2 night stay had too many of the usual food items not available.
"Decent experience"
A very nice experience. Our room was very clean on arrival and everything was given to us that was needed, staff were friendly and approachable. Breakfast at Brewers Fayre was nice and an easy distance from hotel as well as local attractions such as sea life and sand world. Parking was good and easy too as you validate your parking using a tablet. Only downsides were that the sink plug was stuck so had to wash hands with the bath tap, and also that there is no lift. The walk to town can be lengthy but bus stops outside hotel definitely help. Other than that, a very lovely stay not far from the beach, would stay again! :)
"Spoilt celebration"
OMG, where to start. A 2 night short stay to celebrate my wife's birthday. We love Weymouth and have been coming here for 20 odd years. I have to say standard of cleanliness has dropped dramatically. Our room was not good, the toilet was badly stained in the bowl and under the rim made for grim viewing. Mould around the shower screen and the bathroom taps. Carpet under the bed hadn't seen a hoover in many months and the view from the window was obscured by the dirty glass. Complained to Premier Inn via their messenger link and the upshot is they were not interested. We will never use this company again.
"Ruined weekend break"
We were given a room on the second floor, at the far end of the hotel with no lift to access it .We asked to move to the ground floor, due to having 2 babies under 6 months but was told no availability. I had to drag a double pram up 2 flights of stairs, hurting my shoulder doing so.We have used this hotel many times, but will never use it again as when we complained the hotel said it offered to change our room many times WHICH it never did.We had a premier plus room but it DIDN'T have any drawers to store our clothes. Totally ruined our weekend so we left early.
