"Avoid"
I really don't know where to start with this one, apart from saying I won't be back.
We were looking forward to spending a few nights in Weymouth and booked this hotel earlier in the year. When we later heard that Premier Inn would be closing its restaurants, I made a few phone calls specifically to check what would be happening during our stay. I was assured that everything would operate as normal for hotel guests.
It doesn't.
The former Brewers Fayre on the site closes after breakfast and doesn't reopen until 6pm. When it does reopen, the evening menu is frankly a joke. And if you fancy a pint with your meal, forget it — the pumps were empty.
Breakfast wasn't much better. The food was cold, and the only spread offered for toast was sunflower oil spread, which tasted bloody awful.
What annoys me most is that I actually took the trouble to check before we came. Had I been told what the facilities were really going to be like, I could have made an informed decision before booking.
Premier Inn has always been somewhere I've associated with knowing roughly what you're going to get. Unfortunately, that certainly wasn't the case here.
I Won't be back.

"Return visit to Weymouth Beach Front Hotel"
Due to 'business issues' the staff are doing their best with a chronic lack of bodies, especially in the restuarant.
My room was very good and the service excellent.
I shall be returning in a few months to see if there are any improvenents

"Bad experience"
Premier inn Weymouth seafront wouldn’t recommend staying here we stayed for three nights when we arrived we where greeted by a lady that didn’t seem to know much about the hotel or about the restaurant next door we asked if we could have dinner then to be told the restaurant was closed for refurbishment then later on asked another member staff and she said that wasn’t true we could have dinner but only on a meal deal which didn’t seem right the staff didn’t seem to know what was going on.
When we entered our room the bathroom door didn’t close and it smelt of mould cause the bath was leaking on the plus side the bed was comfy but should have been a twin not a double.
On our first morning having breakfast there was only two members of staff on running around and the one girl was on her first day she tried her best and was trying to help as much as possible people where having to wait at the door for quite a while all in all I think the hotel needs to have a look at staff training more on reception as the restaurant staff where much more helpful we defiantly wont be staying again it’s such a shame as I’ve stayed in at least 10 premier inn before and they have all been excellent it’s a shame that this one wasn’t the same.

"Worst hotel ever"
This has to be the worst run. Worst condition and poor service of any hotel we have stayed at
The room price was extremely high for a 4 night stay and certainly was not value for money room was disgusting corridor carpets smelt musty
Every issue ( 1 set of towels. No hairdryer. Spare quilt. Room change) we’re all met with “sorry” which was very patrionising and in professional
The senior staff did not want to sort issues
Booked a meal deal ( dinner and breakfast) paid for it with the card on the account for room and was told extras would go on that card however at 10.30 pm that night when were asleep 2 members of staff knocked the door to insist we returned to the restaurant which was outside the hotel to settle the bill and said it couldn’t wait till morning or be charged to the card there was no alternative option given
In the restaraunt the male staff member was laughing behind the bar at what happened when he knocked the door to our room he dint realise I was standing there
We are in our 70’s is that the way to treat paying customers
Disgusted with the whole situation and certainly will not be staying at a premier inn again

"Shambles"
Shambles is probably the most polite description permitted. With the surrounding Lodmoor Park closed and nothing nearby, would appear that Whitbread have decided to run this Premier Inn down before selling to developers for high end apartments. Very quick to still take money from paying guests though. Dinner and breakfast a joke with most menu items unavailable. Half the beer taps covered and most wine not in stock. No door on cubicle in Ladies. Outside area full of broken furniture, weeds, broken glass, cigarette butts, etc. Room filthy. Pleased we were only there for one night and would never stay here again.
