"Excellent Experience"
Stayed here a few times now. Always a good experience. Love the location and the staff are always so helpful. Special shout out to Sophie for going the extra mile and helping with restaurant reservations.
"A good night's sleep guarantee- Not on your nellie!"
Room 16 was horrendous the carpet was tired and the shower started and stopped each time You used it which is simply unacceptable plus the bathroom door's bottom edge was breaking away with bits on the floor every time You opened or closed the door. Oh and as for the good night sleep guarantee - the crappy Air conditioning kept Us awake all night We had to sleep in extreme heat oh and to cap it all extensive cobwebs on the curtains the room had barely been cleaned. Finally the pillows were not the usual Premier Inn high standards this was an awful experience I expect to be contacted by guest relations for an explanation. This is THE WORST Premier Inn in the whole of the UK and I've stayed in over 75 different ones please do NOT stay at this one.
"Poor cleanliness."
We have not stayed at this hotel for a number of years. It doesn't seem as if it is a priority for updating.. we had an accessible room, due to my husband's disabilities. The room was large, and was a wet room, as requested. However the level of cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The sink and toilet were heavily stained, and around the bed needed a good vacuum. The double bed was two singles put together, which is usually ok, however my side was very uncomfortable, with a dip in the middle. At home, we have a PI mattress, so we know what it should be like. The worst thing was, on the last but one night, when I got up, there was a big cockroach 🪳 running around. I should have taken a photo before I squashed it, and put it down the toilet. I informed reception next morning, and although the young lady was very apologetic, I would have expected a manager to become involved. The next night, there was a smaller one, which scuttled back through a hole in the skirting board. I think this may be an indication of the lax cleaning regime at this hotel.
"Always good"
The room was wonderful! Full on air conditioning which was much needed in this heat. The bed was two single beds pushed together, again brilliant, so much more room, couldn't even reach hubby to kick him when he was snoring. The only let down is the wi fi, its dire. Premier Inn is becoming very expensive for what it is. Since covid there is no daily room clean unless you ask for it each day, so its a glorified b&b, with that said, Lodmoor will always be my favourite Premier Inn. The sea is within walking distance, and if your okay with a ten minute walk, you can walk into the main town. Free car parking on site, brilliant.
"2 night girls trip to Weymouth"
Just returned from this trip, there is no lift at this hotel, which we knew about and didn't bother us, room, a premier plus, was clean and a nice room, however the check in process was a car crash, arrived at 5pm along with the tail end of a coach party of 80 Ukranian soldiers, had to stand in a very hot sweaty small reception area along with of them, whilst they checked in, the receptionist had a fan directed at her, one beside her which could have been directed to the customers was turned off. No apology from her for the delay. We booked the meal deal, located in the Brewers Fayre next door. Breakfast was ok, however evening meal was a disaster, food was ok when it eventually arrived, but the service was atrocious, orders missed, a long wait on food, no apology, plates left uncleared for at least 30 mins , so 2nd course delayed too. Total lack of staff because all they were interested in was the soldiers, who we as tax payers, were funding. Very disappointed, lucky the weather was perfect, Weymouth lovely, find somewhere else to stay.
