"Not up to usual standards"
Not impressed by this hotel. Premier inn are normally the go to when im travelling for business. Paid £268 for 2 nights which is normally acceptable considering booking late. This hotel is sub standard. The room smelt a bit the bed very uncomfortable. Repairs needed in the bathroom and 2 lights didn't work. 2 sockets were unusable as well. Tv remote was disgusting and half the buttons didn't work. Please note there is no lift in this hotel and is spread across 1/4 mile so a treck to your room. Cannot believe they put an elderly couple on the first floor and left them to carry their luggage upstairs (I did it) Staff on reception not in uniform which doesn't bother me bit gives a bad impression on standards. Premier inn your milking this asset and not to standards we would expect. Disappointed to say the least. Finally the Iron man team were loading barriers in the car park next to the hotel until 11pm very annoying especially as the beep beep bh the forklift was there ay 7 am .
"Trip to Weymouth"
Unfortunately, during a recent stay in September, I woke up covered in insect bites that appear consistent with bed bugs. After returning home, I decided to look into whether anyone else had experienced similar issues, and came across a review from April 2025 describing almost the exact same problem, only in that case, it also involved a child and a trip to A&E, which I find quite troubling that there still appears to be an issue 5 months later. I understand things can occasionally go wrong, but it’s how they’re handled that makes all the difference. At the very least, I would hope the hotel takes this seriously, carries out a thorough inspection, and any remedial actions . I did see a Pharmacist in Weymouth and she prescribed me steroid cream & Prition which did help . I have given 3 stars rather than 1 star as the staff were helpful and did change our bedding .
"Definitely not Premier Inn standard"
Appalling bathroom with a non flushing toilet, bad staining toilet bath shower and toilet. Dirty floor to bath and bed room. Toilet flush repaired by maintenance but still wouldn’t flush properly. General state of hotel poor. Definitely not normal Premier Inn standard. We were there for 3 nights! Also top floor room with no lift and some mobility problems was difficult too.
"The most disappointing Premier Inn..."
Seafront is misleading. That is a few minutes walk away across a main road and not visible from the hotel, which is an old relic situated in the middle of a large pay and display car park. There is nothing on the doorstep so it's a bus or taxi into town for shops, cafes etc. The hotel is shabby and needs a full refurbishment. No lift. Carpets throughout need vacuuming and a deep clean. Stained. Shower was just a dribble with a glass screen that didn't close properly so water all over the floor. Old rough towels. First 'double room' allocated had two dirty old sunken single mattresses zipped together. Appalling. Refused it. Second room had a double mattress but with over sized bedding trailing on the floor. The worst Premier Inn we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many. Avoid. Dreadful.
"Expensive for what it was"
Hotel needed updating, location was not great and would of liked to of been told of the event IRON MAN happening which caused lots of noise and disruption around the hotel and grounds, especially for the price we paid! would not return to this hotel
