Poole North hotel

We had a very pleasant stay. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was good and it was a great base for our adventures which included Brownsea Island, Corfe Castle, Swanage Beach, and Splashdown Waterpark.

Location and car parking is the only positive points during our last stay. - Wi-fi never worked (even paying for the Ultimate); - Noise levels very high due to noisy room's floor. We were in the second... So I was waking up in the very early hours with someone walking in the 03rd floor. And for sure, our floor was waking up guests on the 01st floor, because it was noisy too. - Aircon: very noisy and didn't cool down. Complained in reception and asked for a fan. I am still waiting for the fan... - Housekeeping: in a 3-night stay, requested just once. Carpet remained dirty, bed wasn't made. The only thing done was the rubbish, change of towels. Corridor in the 02nd floor was also in need of a good vacuum. Lift had a wet floor, someone dropped something and it was there... no signage, nothing.

Absolutely fantastic premier Inn, staff so helpful and friendly, breakfast was lovely, room was lovely!

Apart from the staff, the place is very poor. Tired rooms, bathrooms, corridors (info stickers peeling off doors), car park virtually inaccessible and people hanging about in motorhomes looking quite intimidating - no security presence. Would not use again.

Myself and my partner stopped for a night on route to elsewhere, we’ve never had an issue with premier inn before so we’re expecting the same level as other locations. There was no staff around upon check in, just a machine for self check in which was pretty simple for us to use. Originally entering the room we didn't find anything out of the ordinary but later found stains on the bedding including the spare pillows in the room We paid £27.99 for a 2 course dinner + breakfast each which we thought was reasonable for the amount you’d get. We ordered one chicken dish in which my partner asked to double up the meat (an option on the menu) however one small chicken breast was received. The other main was a cheese&bacon burger which according to the menu comes with salad, sauce plus chips and coleslaw on plate - the burger itself did not have salad or sauce but was instead a stale bun, a bland patty with cheese and one strip of bacon accompanied with no coleslaw and a small handful of chips. We ordered a Sundae Sharer for dessert in which we were presented with a tiny sundae and when questioned the server didnt know what we ordered as it wasn’t consistent staff taking orders and bringing plates. We didn't even have a moment to discuss the issues as plates were dropped to the table and staff immediately walked off & stood around chatting to each other. In the morning we went for breakfast which after the night before we weren't expecting much. While waiting to be seated, another guest said to one of the workers no cold drinks were available (there was still over an hour of breakfast left at this point) to which we witnessed a staff member turn around, clearly ignoring the issue and mutter “tough” under her breath before walking off Overall, this is one premier in we won’t be returning to in a hurry (if at all)
