"Lovely stay at premier inn Bournemouth ferndown"
Room was clean and bed was very comfortable as would expect with their hypnos beds. No air conditioning but had a very good fan which did a good job ( weather wasn't overly hot thank goodness) we were on the 1st floor and did find the stairway quite grubby ( stained dirty carpet which could have done with a clean) and the hallway to the room didnt smell very nice BUT we told reception , went out and when we returned it was a lot better. Didn't affect the room though!
Was lucky enough to be there for the opening of the restaurant . Was served by Sarah who was very attentive, took our order and showed us where everything was and who also asked if we were happy with everything. Breakfast was cooked by chef Claude and we didnt have to wait long and the food was hot and tasty. Plenty of choice although I could imagine the room could get quite busy in the height of the summer and not sure there would be enough seating?
Needed extra towels as only had one bath and one hand towel ( there was 2 of us) but again reception was on hand to help.
Overall a really good stay! Thank you

"Terrible"
Worst experience ive ever had breakfast was thrown on two tables advertises as continental breakfast with very few apples banana's in bad condition no yogurts or other fruit and poor customer service when asked room was dirty mould in the bathroom easily visible build up and when asked for a room clean only beds made with bedbug bites and dust all over fan blades no actual cleaning was done poor breakfast facilities were blamed by recent renovation but no renovation works here to be carried out discussing place avoid at all cost speaking of which they charge full price still with no apology and will be getting a refund .

"Worst night sleep I have ever had! Avoid this hotel at all costs."
Awful experience - hotel is completely unfit for hot weather. It has absolutely no air-flow or air conditioning. We stayed on a night that was actually fairly cool compared to what we’ve experienced this summer but this hotel had no ventilation at all and was unbearable. None of us could sleep.
I was told I should have told reception at the time but the fact we had 3 ineffective fans in our room meant they were very aware of the issue!!!
Our stay was literally booked to ensure we had a good night sleep before our holiday so we are absolutely gutted.
No compensation when I emailed them - just an apology from Mohammed.
Won’t be using any Premier Inn hotel again and will be advising friends and family to avoid.
It is a shame as the room was otherwise clean and a good size with decent beds as you would expect for the price.

"Great Staff, Poor Hotel"
Firstly, the staff are excellent.
The hotel, however, is not.
We knew that the air - con want working but didn't think to much of that - after so, we don't have it at home and manage okay - also, the weather wasn't overly warm. Unfortunately, the hotel is hotter than the sun. Staff put gangs in the rooms (thank you) but the hotel is, somehow, insanely hot - I mean, you start sweating just getting dressed - I had to put a towel under the cold tap, wring it out, and use as a blanket just to get some sleep.
Also, despite the website promising breakfast and other meals if wanted, there is no kitchen there so there is no food. We booked this hotel, largely for the location and breakfast for the children - nothing doing - instead we had to cross the road to Sainsbury's, pick up a quick breakfast bar/snack and give that to the children - no where near the full English they thought they were going to get!
So, great staff - very helpful, kind, and a real credit to the company - hotel was not Ideal-especially with hot, hungry children!

"Appallingly bad"
The staff were friendly as always. Bed was comfortable. Very overpriced for a room with NO breakfast.
The hotel is in dire need of updating - carpets, curtains etc are all looking tired. You also need to install air-conditioning or allow people to open the windows further than 3 inches. This is H&S gone mad!!!! If there were a fire, there is no way anyone could get out of the windows. If you need to get people to sign disclaimers about opening windows, do so, but we shouldn't all have to suffer because of a few idiots.
