Bournemouth/Ferndown hotel

Absolutely terrible stay . Temperature in the room made us feel ill with the heat . Had 2 hours sleep at the most . Hotel dosent have air conditioning and supplied two fans which circulated the hot air No warning from staff when we checked in to advise of the Temperature Will definitely not be staying there again

Dont go there! The adjacent public house/restaurant has been closed. There are no facilities for eating on site. Rooms are appallingly overheated due to hot weather and plug in fans totally inadequate to cool down room. I experienced a very uncomfortable sleepless night. No easy access showers or bath for those who have a disability. On the plus side the staff were very helpful. Unfortunately they had to keep apologising to customers for the inadequacies of the hotel which were not their fault. We heard a number of complaints.

Awful experience. Hardly slept at all .I stayed 2 nights 7th, 8th July during a heatwave. The room temperature was 30oC, ALL NIGHT. They supplied a fan which was I turned off the second night as it made no difference whatsoever, other than keeping me awake. The window only opens about 5cms so there is no chance to get fresh air into the room after the sun has gone down. Whilst they do state on their website that they don’t have air conditioning, they don’t say the room can get as hot as 30oC. Literally not fit for purpose, I would have been better off (and cooler) sleeping in the car.

I have stayed here once a month for 2 nights for about 6 months now. Great location. The guy on reception Leon is a true asset to the company. Always chatty and genuinely interested in talking to you. Other staff are also great. Rooms are clean. The adjacent pub restaurant (Beefeater) has recently closed so dining is not available but a continental breakfast is offered free. Unfortunately due to the restaurant soon opening as a Weatherspoons i think this will be my last visit here. Which is a shame.

It was great that a fan was provided in our room and the beds were made up without duvets due to the heatwave. Thankfully the staff moved us to a downstairs room at the back of the building which was the coolest place to be
