"Not recommended to book for a family"
The staff were friendly and helpful. However our room 201 was a family room i was staying with my asthmatic partner and 3 children one of which is a premature baby and suffers from lung problems. The bathroom absolutely stunk of stale cigarette smoke, making us all feel sick and my partner suffered from several asthma attacks during our rare holiday as a result of this. We made a complaint to reception all they did was come and spray air freshener.
    "Noisy ground floor rooms"
Have stayed at this Premier Inn many times before and always been happy with the experience. This time, unfortunately, our room was on the ground floor and at 5.35am on our 2nd night a delivery van was parked immediately outside our bedroom window and woke me and was so noisy for 15 minutes that I was unable to return to sleep even though the beds are really comfortable! Also the vending machine didn't work and the bar doesn't stock bottled water that we needed. Fortunately for us, Jenny (not sure what her title is but she was very helpful) guided us to a shop around the corner. Also the bar advertised "cocktails" but whilst we were there only 1 was available. This time I felt very disappointed with our stay.
    "Great stay!"
Overall a great few days stay. Staff friendly and attentive. Rooms are a good size, clean and adequate. The beds are extremely comfy, slept very well. Breakfast was amazing, so much variety and value for money. Staff always replenishing the food when running low. Coffee was really nice. We ate in the restaurant for dinner..again food was very nice and staff very attentive. They run the offer of kids eating free in the holidays which is great for us as a family of four. Only slight problem was our starters came out with our mains but this wasn't a big issue for us as we were fairly hungry at the time 😊 The only downside for this hotel was the parking. Limited spaces which fo fill up quickly. You have to pay for the parking when you leave. Its £1 per hour and after 4 hours it's £10 for 24 hours. Its still a good price as you are near the beach but can be a bit frustrating if you pay for 24hours, leave the car park to go out for the day and can't get a space back in car park to park. We found it easier to park on a road nearby which offered free parking and walk to and from hotel. Overall great stay and would return.
"Convenient for town and easy to get to."
Car parking was limited and expensive. No option to leave and return without paying twice. No opening windows in the room. Very hot stiffy room and air con had to run all night. Comfy bed but small room nowhere to sit, no fridge. Handy for Bournemouth centre and beach. A bit tired and expensive really.
"Take you’re own travel cot and a coat"
The room was clean and tidy? The beds are far too high and the travel cot was rock hard, my 5 month old couldn’t sleep in it. The blanket they provided which I assume was meant to be a sheet had a big stain on it. For the price of the room I expected more. The evening meal was nice but a long wait, I ordered gammon and eggs and the eggs came out barely cooked so I sent them back to then have to wait a further 20 mins for them to come out again. The restaurant was also really cold with the air con being on so high. The staff were pleasant enough but it was too busy for the 2 that was on shift.
