"Great choice in hotel"
Great hotel. Every staff member was very knowledgeable and helpful. Comfortable beds. Rooms well equipped and was able to replenish tea/coffee making facilities easily as they are readily available at reception. Excellent value breakfast that was delicious. Clean. Good location within walking distance to the beach and the town. Also like the secure car park available.

"The worst Premier Inn we have been to."
Me and my gf stayed here for 2 nights. We have already stayed in 4 other Premier Inns around the country and loved them but after our experience here I think we will just go to an Airbnb next time.
Firstly,
We had an adjoining room door so could hear loud guests next door at 1130pm when we were woken up.
They were loud the second night and a member of staff told them to reduce the noise but still heard them (they stopped shouting but could easily hear phone/tablet videos being played)
We payed for unlimited breakfast meal deal. The first morning we plated our food up sat and found it was stone cold and hash browns warm. That night we pre-ordered a dinner (as was told fish takes longer to cook at another premier inn)
However it was cooked but I had to wait 10-15mins for my dinner.Once served I saw that I was given hardly any chips, barely a hand full and they had been double fried and could only taste oil.The chicken burger just tasted of a plain chicken breast grilled in a bun.We were then served brownies and ice cream but I was at the till for a while as they were trying to bill me the correct amount so the ice-cream was melted and turned to yogurt.
We decided we were not going to have the unlimited breakfast in the morning as we were leaving early but the tall member of staff said he won't deduct/refund our unlimited breakfast as we had the dinner meal deal I even said I'd pay the difference.
Lastly, we don't need the fastest internet however the free WiFi kept dropping and as there was little to no signal in there I found I had all my WhatsApp messages/missed calls come at once, once I left the building.
We won't be returning.

"Staff great, hotel disappointing."
We stayed here for 2 nights as our son was playing in the Beach Fest football tournament.
Initial impressions inside the hotel were good, the staff were friendly and the reception area was clean. However, the car park area underground had a strong smell of urine, but this isn’t the fault of Premier Inn.
On arrival to our room (912) it was baking hot so we immediately put the air conditioning on but it didn’t seem to be doing much. The toilet also had dried urine on and the bathroom smelt.
We raised this with reception who were very apologetic and agreed to go and sort it out. We then went to the beach for a bit and on returning the bathroom was better.
We then tried to eat in the restaurant but despite it being quiet we were told there was a 30min wait. This was most likely due to the woeful staffing levels. It seemed like only 2 front of house and 1 or 2 in the kitchen. For a Saturday night in Bournemouth during the summer, I would imagine they could do with a few more.
We found somewhere else and when we came back our room was like a sauna despite the air conditioning being “on” the lowest temperature and highest fan speed. The corridor outside was also very hot. My husband went down to reception and they said they would reset the air conditioning but also gave us a large fan which was a godsend and allowed us to get some sleep.
The next morning breakfast seemed very disorganised and the food standard was far below what we have had in other Premier Inns.
Our room was still baking on Sunday night despite the a/c being reset. The small area by the door was cool but that was it.
The bathroom was in need of a refresh as there were marks on the walls and the toilet flush was broken. The shower however was very good and it’s always nice to have the shower gel etc as they’re good quality and with nice fragrances.
We also had to report misuse of the disabled parking bay but there wasn’t a staff member who could help us, so we had to email. Not really helpful when we needed that space (I am a blue badge holder) but had to park further away.
Monday morning the breakfast was much better and I think this was mostly down to the wonderful staff member Josh. He was very organised and seemed to place importance on higher standards. He was also extremely friendly and helpful, a real credit to Premier Inn!
The whole staff in general were good but I think they’re probably let down by the lack of resource to allow them to do a thorough job. It’s obvious measures have been put in place under the guise of “customer convenience” but it really isn’t. I would much rather speak to a person than a screen (which incidentally didn’t actually work properly to check us in anyway!)
Unfortunately we wouldn’t return to this hotel unless we could be assured that the rooms have fully functioning facilities and some other improvements are made (marked walls, peeling wallpaper etc). If it was on staff alone, we would return, but sadly it’s not, and I feel Premier Inn are making it hard for them in the aim of cost saving/streamlining.

"Premier Inn Bournemouth East Cliff"
This review is about a special member of the staff called "Ayse"
I used the lockers to leave my luggage so that I could see more of Bournemouth my last day.
I love beach (swimming in sea water) but left my belongings for the beach inside my luggage thinking about the forecast that said that it would be a bad day. I went for a walk and realised that forecast was wrong. I came back to the hotel just in case I could take the clothes for swimming but didn't have hope as I read that once luggage is in the lockers you can't mess around even they may charge you again with new slot!
Luckily I found this lovely and nice lady that understood my needs and thanks 🙏 to Aysa I could take them and also let me use the toilet to change my clothes.
She really made my day and so greatful to her as It meant a lot to me to be my last day in sea water, swimming is like a therapy for me, as Im not having good days in the last months.
Thank you so much and so sorry to the cleaner as I took more time to get changed as I have my monthly women thing.
Thank you so much again Aysa.
We need more people like her in this world that shows how to be empathetic and understanding.
