Good for a night stay if you dont want anything to do with the resturant. But steer clear, massively understaffed, slow and poor quality food with zero atmosphere and freezing cold from the air conditioning.

Accommodation wise, couldn't be faulted. However, our evening meal experience was completely spoiled by the over excessive work-load put on the poor girl alone behind the bar. Not only did she have to fulfil her bar serving duties all by herself, as well as being the only waitress, she also had to act as the sole receptionist, constantly moving from the other two jobs in order to receive and sign in new guests! She was rushed off her feet and though it was obvious that she was trying her level best to juggle the three tasks simultaneously, it was equally clear that far too many responsibilities were being foisted on her shoulders. In my opinion, nobody should be made to work under such trying conditions, having, as it did, a perfectly understandable effect on the overall efficiency. Obviously, this can sometimes cause some frustration among customers, but my personal overall take on the situation was one of sympathy and plain embarrassment for the poor girl. I will add in conclusion that, in my experience over several visits to this and other Premier Inn outlets, this was by no means a 'one-off', but rather a clear picture of a regular staffing policy.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, however there were major issues with the room booking: We had specifically booked a family room, as we needed two beds. (One for myself and one for the elderly lady I was travelling with). Only the main bed was made up, and the staff were unable to help. This was very upsetting for my elderly relative. ) I had tried to phone numerous times in advance to ensure that we needed two beds made up, but always the message was that reception staff were too busy to answer the phone). Although clearly I had booked for two adults only one set of towels had been put out. The staff found one bath towel but had to give us a bath mat for a hand towel The bathroom was clean but the skirting board in the bedroom was very grimy and sticky, and there were cobwebs in the corners of the room. This was definitely not the standard I've experienced at other Premiers around the UK

The room was the standard Premier Inn room, with a comfy bed. But when booking we also look for a meal on site, only to be told on check iin that the restaurant was closed, which was happening more and more. It s not what we expect from Premier Inn

Went for my husbands 40th birthday. A premier Inn is pretty standard. Clean rooms, comfy bed, good breakfast. Quiet area. Special shout out to Karen who helped us at breakfast time with our allergy child. Had info on hand really easily, checked things we asked and made it seem like no big deal while keeping him completely safe.
