"Good night sleep guaranteed is a lie."
Booked for 2 nights including breakfast and evening meal. On arrival we were informed the restaurant was closed so all evening meals are cancelled, still haven’t had my refund for this, because the chef had an accident and had injured themselves that day. On speaking to other guests it’s been happening for weeks.
On entering the room we noticed an interconnecting door, stayed in a lot of premium inns and never come across that before. Our first night was great but second night someone arrived in the other interconnecting room to which we were woken up with what sounded like someone in our room and there was light coming through underneath the connecting door. And if light can get under a door noise will too, we could hear people talking very loudly and their tv. I got dressed and went down to reception and informed them and they asked them to be quieter but the noise went on for a long time and by which point we, my 10 year old and I, were wide awake so needless to say we did not get back to sleep very well. It has ruined our day out because we were very tired. I rang premium inn and spoke to someone who was condescending and refused a refund saying it doesn’t meet their T&C’s when I asked multiple times why she said because it does, I asked her to explain why and she just said it did. I asked to put a complaint in and a manger call and she said she is the complaints department and refused my claim and said if I didn’t like the room I should have moved. I explained my 10 year old and I would have had to pack our whole room and bathroom up in the night and their room was not fit for purpose. But still refused.
I will NEVER book with premier inn again, they do NOT guarantee a good night sleep.

"Get some new cleaners!"
Comfy beds and well situated.
However they need to have a serious word with their cleaners! The bathroom floor and walls were filthy!
Urine splashes up the wall, fluff, stones, pubic hair among other hairs all along the floors and skirtings!
Yuck!

"Great staff at this Purple Palace"
We stayed here on Friday night before Parkrun and the receptionist was brilliant. Really helpful and friendly. He was patient with us and explained everything we needed to know very clearly. A complete star. (He was a young man who is quite tall with dark hair).
We met a housekeeper with blonde hair working on the first floor on Saturday morning and she was very friendly and helpful too.

"Change booking"
Trying to amend a booking with this lot takes one down numerous rabbit holes so that in the end one says sod it,
Booking is easy after that it’s like 1995 dial up
