      "Bugs in the bedding "
Premium room well appointed with air-conditioning. We both woke covered in bites around our midriff. Not flying insect as with air-conditioning we remained well covered. Whatever was in the bedding. We will not be returning even though it's convenient for the ferry port
"Very pleasant stay and good value in Premium Plus room"
I styed for 3 nights whilst walking the SW coastpath I was welcomed by receptionist Cassidy and she was also extremely helpful in getting me onto the Ultimate WiFi. Sadly the wifi is provided by Virgin. I have stayed at many Premier Inns and if they all have a common problem it is the disgraceful Virgin intrnet service. I am always assured by staff that they are changing. Whitbreads never get round to if. It must be very cheap or there must be a more suspicious reason. The room ,Premier Plus, was beautifully equipped and well worth the £88 a night (averaged out price.) Very quiet in spite of being near a busy junction. And very clean and well presented. I ate dinner at the adjoining Beefeate on just one evening. The staff were pleasant and the food was just OK. Not exciting in any way.. The staff did stress that they .lwere not part of the hotel, so that should not be allowed to detract from my review of a very pleasant stay
      "Book another hotel"
This is probably the worst PI I've ever stayed in. The location is terrible as it's located directly on one of the main junctions into Plymouth and it's not easy to get in and out off. The picture of the website does not show that!! The noise was deafening however the room was also boiling. They did provide a fan but the choice was to listen to the roar of the traffic or the continuous drone from the fan which was clearly old. The communal areas were filthy. I can only guess the last time someone cleaned the staircase and skirting boards or even vacuumed the place. It was a never ending walk to the room and again the heat in the building was excessive. When we checked in the girl on reception didn't bother to tell us where we could find the room. We had to ask the number which she then wrote on the key card holder as she should have done in the first place. The showers were very poor in that the water came and went when someone in another room turned their shower in. Despite being a double room we had one towel. There was a load of the younger staff putting toys into a cupboard on the first floor but were just larking about making a noise and blocking the way yet they have posters everywhere asking you to have consideration for other guests and keep the noise down. I won't be there again. Disappointing
"Nice, poor shower let it down."
If we are travelling and need a hotel room we always book a Premier Plus room at a Premier Inn. The plus rooms are usually a nice upgrade. This one was no different, clean, really comfy bed, enough room. However, the shower was pathetic. Low water pressure maybe? Or maybe a faulty shower? Not sure but it was just a dribble, disappointing. I love the Premier Plus bathrooms normally. That said the staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was outstanding as always, sets you up for a days adventuring.
      "Rooms to hot"
Staff are friendly that's the only good bit. Rooms are ridiculously hot without any means of cooling them down. I stayed for 10 days and although the temp outside drop to below 15c multiple times the room never dropped below 24c once. You can only open the windows about 2 inches. Not a single good night's sleep the whole stay
