"A confusing break canceled"
We booked a three night stay in Plymouth by the Harbour and was really looking forward to the break, but a friend said would I be ok has it was a fair walk to the centre. On looking at Premier web site we found another hotel basically next door and this one looked newer so the wife phoned them up and booked the three night stay cancelling the previous booking. Email came through and to our horror it was the old hotel, wife rang again on speaking to a person about the problem even he didn’t know the difference between hotels, so cancelled again. What’s more simple than calling the hotels premier A and premier B So our yearly break ruined. We always use premier hotels but this time they failed.
"A happy break"
4.5 Welcoming Staff & cleaning Staff all been brilliant, room was exeptional, however could have done with a loo brush. Only criticism not much choice for Gluten free on menu. We were waiting for a parcel which still hadn’t arrived after checkout. The staff were extremely helpful and allowed us to stay on the premises. Even though we live in Malta, we would definitely stay here again.
"Not great!!"
2nd visit to this hotel. Location is great, right on the harbour & short walk to all pubs, restaurants & shopping. Location you can't fault. We paid for a Premier plus room. I was not impressed, grubby carpets, stains on the seat, and a lovely surprise on my clean bath towel after showering - nice big stain!! We paid for breakfast - I wish we didn't bother. Service this morning was terrible - 1st September. The poor boy running about, seating people, taking orders, dealing with reception, trying to top up food. Premier Inn you should be ashamed of yourself to treat your staff like this. That young lad is a credit to you, however shocking your treating your staff like that, I think the whole restaurant felt for him this morning.
"Premier Plus Perfection Over Plymouth Harbour"
Arrived on Sunday afternoon to very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was clean and had a contemporary decor. The check in process was quick and we were directed to our premier plus room with harbour views. The room was very clean and spacious and looked out over the harbour, Marine Aquarium and across to the Barbican. The hotel is in a great location with short walks to the many bars, restaurants and shops on the Barbican, up to the Hoe and the rest of Plymouth city centre. The weather was fantastic for an August bank holiday and gave the whole area a holiday atmosphere that would rival any Mediterranean holiday destination. A big thank you to Sofia and Kelly for their time, friendly chat and help with my questions on parking.
"Shame - very run down and not enough staff"
Unfortunately the reception desk was unmanned a lot. Also the restaurant was closed in the evening so could not eat at the venue . Terrible night sleep because the bed was broken and creaking Every time I moved
