Plymouth City Centre (Lockyers Quay) hotel

I stayed at the Premier Inn Plymouth City Centre (Lockyers Quay) and was very disappointed. The room had no air conditioning and reached 29°C overnight. The windows only opened a couple of inches, making it almost impossible to cool the room down or get a decent night's sleep. They have a good night sleep 'guarantee' but was told being too hot is excluded! When I asked to move to a cooler room, the response from reception was dismissive. I was simply told that all the rooms were the same and that I should have booked a hotel with air conditioning. I had reasonably assumed that a Premier Inn would provide air conditioning, particularly in summer. The shared areas were also grubby and felt poorly maintained, adding to the overall poor impression. Based on this experience, I won't be using Premier Inn again.

Big up Reece. Everything collapsed today. No cleaning staff etc but the lad stayed professional through the whole day with people complaining. Reece and the female who was alongside hine held it together and displayed exemplary professionalism.

Everything was poor! For checking 15 min. Wait which is not fare! Weather was too hot and no air-conditioning! The room was ground floor which is people's walk way and we didn't feel privacy the worst Premier Inn l stayed as me and my wife regular customer.l don't think l ll stay again.

Room mouldy, dark and smells of mould. Curtains never been washed. Bathroom had crumbling skirting board due to mould. Upon checking in was left waiting then the reception girl was rude sent me to room 105 upon going back to reception she just laughed and said no room 12. The heat in the corridor and room is awful reception is misleading soon as you go threw another door its smelly and dark. Had to go and ask for clean towels and toilet paper. Looked at spare blanket in bag under bed was rotten hair all over amd stains never would i stay here again neither would family for the price its overly charged .

Great location to get to the old town side of Plymouth! Room was exactly as expected for a premier inn! Clean rooms, friendly staff etc. Didn’t hear anything in the room either. Walls aren’t thin for example. Parking wasn’t a problem but did have to pay £10.
