Paignton South (Brixham Road) hotel

The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable with a low bath for my disabled husband. The only problem we encountered was a few disabled parking spaces were taken by drivers that were not displaying a blue badge because as we were told it’s convenient parking very close to the restaurant and hotel

Superb, excellent, attentive, great, unique, lovely, legendary. Just some of the words to describe the staff here. Becky and Tracey were very helpful at the front desk.

Just had 4 nights at this premier inn - it is ideally situated for travel around the Devon and Cornwall areas it is on a retail park so handy for shops or your needs and a bus stop is near - parking is free but remember too put car reg in when you arrive for check in - staff helpful and polite… negatives … the hotel is in bad need of a refurb as is the Beefeater restaurant where you have breakfast and evening meals if required.. there are no other restaurants around the area other than drive in kfc or macdonalds … the restaurant can get very busy and booking is advised- food average but saved us trekking out at night after busy days out - a big shout out for the staff in this restaurant as they work very hard too look after you .. they need more staff and the restaurant also needs a refurb- shabby carpets and toilets scuffed furniture- windows glass doors need cleaning daily etc a great shame as it could be a very good place- apparently it’s due too close when it really needs too be bigger with a family area which would help with parents who want children too eat early … hopefully management can turn this into something much much better and get even more business.. more staff please not reducing or making them redundant ! We would not use the hotel if there is no restaurant or breakfast offered but our stay was acceptable for our needs - rooms need updating /painting and air con sorted … windows should be able too open part way especially in summer and lighter duvets would help and be more economical than air con running all night ! . And a fridge be great too ! .

This hotel is the best Premier Inn I have stayed in. Staff at check in were friendly and helpful and the room was large and clean. The ged was really comfortable and the aircon worked. There was a functioning although expensive car charger in the car park
